  1. Yeah…that’s why I said the above. All the words around the CN terms seem to be marketing speak. Just don’t ask your NCL PCC to apply it…they follow the current “marketing speak”. Just apply it yourself online.
  2. CruiseNext certificates terms change from time to time regardless of when you purchased them. When I first purchased two CN certs the terms were I could use two CN certs on Balcony or above on sailings 6 months out. NCL said I could apply them at anytime as long as we were still 6 months out. Personally (based on experience) I’m not certain they have that much control of what you apply and when. I have actually switched to CruiseFirst. If I see a cruise I want, I book using the normal deposit…and as soon as a $250 CruiseFirst offer comes up, I buy it (for $250) and apply it to my existing reservation. CF certs are for cruises 120 days out. It seems like the $250 CF offer comes up every 4-6 weeks. hope this answers your inquiry🤓 And, yes…most of your “special offer” is just marketing hyperbole…which is probably why you posted.
  3. The trip has been everything we could ask for. And PR1MA (lol) is a beautiful upscale ship. We love her and would sail her anywhere anytime the kids were in school. Not a ship for the little kiddos IMO. The Donna Summer Show was very well orchestrated and her story intriguing. You must check the PR1MA out.
  4. Not sure about lunch menu. We only ate in MDR on day 1. And, it was on the menu.
  5. We agree on AFT elevators are slow. For some reason FWD are lightening fast. We never wait and typically have it to ourselves or just a couple of passengers.
  6. Currently on Prima to Bermuda. Having an amazing cruise…despite heavy rain on embarkation and rough seas Monday. Here is a significant change that went into effect with this sailing….wait for it……. PRIMA HAS ADOPTED A NEW EVENING MENU IN THE MDRs. YES…ANOTHER NEW MENU!!! And, for all of those who appreciate the rotating menu on other NCL ships…you’re in luck. PRIMA is now doing the rotating menu. What a nice surprise to us. Also new… all comedians now appear in Prima Theater. Personally, while the ship is sold out and the weather has been iffy…we have had NO trouble finding seating, bar service, long waits for anything. In looking at the # of waitstaff in dining venues and bar service, NCL May have added more as the service and wait times have been more than acceptable. NCL IS LISTENING…😏 p.s., we’re not in Haven. We are in FWD club balcony. If you’re considering Prima outside of Haven, I would recommend cabins near FWD elevators. There are separate banks…port and SB, 4 lifts on each side. Never a wait or more than a couple people. AFT elevators are one main bank and a much longer wait. Bermuda tomorrow…
  7. Wow…your pre-cruise excursions in Rome sound amazing. I was wearing sandals when walking around Palatine Hill and Circus Maximus near the Colosseum…as my toes got dirty I got giddy as I thought about everyone over the centuries who had shared that ground. Enjoy your experience of a lifetime!
  8. Dang…just checked our Delta Reserve and no offer. Would have liked that as we have upcoming need to book flights.
  9. Liv in’ the good life. Cheers🥂. Happy our flight in coach is only 2 hours in an Exit Row seat. And…into LGA…our preferred a airport. See you onboard. Wear your hat to M&G do we can “spot” you 😂
  10. I’ve found that none of our Delta cards offer this. We have only gotten it on our Green card and Everyday card.
  11. Pics? Please. Also so happy that you and DW did a B2B…and so spontaneous at that. I hope to be that someday!
  12. Yay that it is still operating. I bet it will look beautiful seeing the snow. Pics please…when you can.
  13. I love these offers…I did not get one…perhaps because I got one in October and used it. 😕
  14. If the weather site is accurate, it looks like there may be heavy rain in Manhattan on Sunday. We have 9:30 am checkin. We will be arriving by taxi. Just wondering about how much activity is outside uncovered? Drop off, porters, wait before entering terminal?? Thanks for any insights.
  15. I agree with others, book now and watch prices. Definitely look at the Black Friday Sale in November. This past year there really was a small savings over the typical same/same NCL pricing tactics.
  16. You can call general NCL…they can can cancel. But to change it has to be available…so do a mock resv on the app. If you don’t see the time available you will need to do this onboard. For some reason I believe Hasuki is where you alter dining.
  17. Well…now I know that you could see our balcony…12017. Large regular balcony. We loved the location…but…now realize it was not nearly as private…lol
  18. How to Captain a Cruise Ship for Dummies is also a pre-requisite. That’s too funny. Our youngest son actually got his Captain’s license and worked for Lindblad Expeditions (they do Nat Geo cruises) and there is no way on God’s green (or blue) earth would I trust him to operate a ship, let alone the Zodiacs…lol.
  19. Curious…is there horseradish in that Bloody Mary? On Epic recently and there was so much in the mix I couldn’t even drink it. I actually wasted a drink…lol.
  20. Looking forward to meeting everyone…and, the planned activities sound like a great way to spend time on the multiple sea days!! Thank you to all the organizers and communicators. See y’all onboard!!
  21. Do you have any idea how many guests onboard were Soca? Do you believe much of your seating availability was due to Soca cruisers being off ship or at other private soca events? If so…yay for you.
  22. OMG…I am completely and utterly ecstatic that the cruise was such a joyful experience for you and your family. You earned this cruise. Honestly, I stressed right along with you. I know most people said…oh don’t worry…but being the parent of 3 boys…I shared your concern. And…yes, the PR imagery was a trigger. we sail in a week, and your review has lifted my excitement even more!! Thank you so much.
  23. I believe on the Bliss they alternate Family Club Balcony and Club Balcony. Family club has beds next to balcony. Looks like graphic guy is in a Family Club Balcony…perhaps that’s the difference. We were in 10200 Club Balcony and it was shower stall.
  24. We did the same thing on the Breakaway last Fall..but for whatever reason they opened the doors and we just walked in and sat down. The rest of the cruise it seemed like there was a line.
