  1. 🤷‍♀️. The labels and who gets offers is all a mystery. Unfortunately we’ve not been lucky with the discount offers☹️
  2. When you login to your account on NCL.com, click on My Account. You will see your name, Lat status and number and in a shaded box something else. Looks like there a lot of JADE and LATITUDE labels. But there are others like @UKstages got casino+rewards.
  3. Bravo for your attitude. We sailed Prima in May…NYC to Bermuda and loved it. We had rain, wind and very rough seas first two days…and it was fine with everyone being inside. Our cabin did creak in rough seas. Bring white noise. It’s all what you make out of your adventure. also, re: seat availability, we found that most people don’t stay in one place for hours. When seating wasn’t available, we typically just stood for a short time and scouted for people to get up to leave.
  4. Well this is unfair…lol. Curious…remember those random labels they applied to our accounts earlier this year. Mine was JADE…although we really don’t do much gambling…maybe $100 or less on the slots. Others had things like 20DISC. For those who have been fortunate can you please share your label is and what offer you have received.
  5. Have you had experience requesting an extension? Did you do this through PCC. I also wondered if I paid it on another card then repaid again with the NCL card.
  6. It’s truly a blessing that your medical emergency happened at home vs abroad on a ship. Wishing you well…God bless you.
  7. The Munchie Crunchie mix sounds delish…but that isn’t what we’ve gotten. Breakaway was closest but it wasn’t the sweet/salty combo…just savory. Epic had two…one of which was the dried fruit and I think the other was basic oriental mix. I also think Prima had basic oriental mix. Regardless…loved having a nibble with my Prosecco. I’m def a nibbler when I drink.
  8. Botanical Spritz: Kettle One Botanical Grapefruit and Rose vodka with club soda. It’s supposed to have grapefruit wedge but lemon and lime work too.
  9. @Seas2mountains You’re giving me major cruise fever. Your Le Bistro post had some of my all time favorite memories…those goat cheese croquettes were delicious. Personally I would of found room for dessert…best dessert I’ve ever had was the Ile Flottante. And, add the Veuve. How heavenly. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Since restart we’ve had bar mix on Breakaway, Epic and Prima. However, it varied by ship and sometimes by bar on same ship. You do have to ask for it.
  11. Wow thanks for the insight. I think putting the Joy in AK for the summer months makes good sense. They should get higher fares in AK vs sailing Caribbean. And more occupancy vs the Sun.
  12. Thanks for the heads up…I’ll have to keep my eyes open as we have other BoA cards that have high limit but rarely used.
  13. Thanks. I posted a few minutes ago. Actually our final payment for Nov cruise is 7/8…so the 7-10 business days to get the card is cutting it close. I’m going to be sad if i have to use a different card and miss the 3x points on NCL., and trigger the 20k bonus. We’re eyeing an April ‘25 cruise on the Star leaving out of Lisbon to Canary Islands for the upgrade.
  14. As a follow up. I applied today and even though we are long time BoA customers, I had to answer additional security questions due to a recent address change. Therefore I was not provided with the card number at time of approval. The card will be mailed today and I will be at the mercy of the USPS…who BTW seems to only deliver Amazon packages in a timely manner these days.
  15. A lot depends on what islands in the Caribbean you want to visit, and which ship goes to them. Look at the CC forum for ports—Caribbean and get a feel for what others are sharing. Also, consider which embarkation port is most convenient. We did Epic in the southern Caribbean and really enjoyed the outdoor pools and slides. But the bathroom setup is not our favorite but wouldn’t stop us from sailing Epic again.
  16. In an earlier post, SIX on Bliss and Breakaway final dates are Feb 2024.
  17. NCL needs many more new cruisers if they are ever going to generate profit. New cruisers are price sensitive and will typically follow the cost more than value. The cuts and cost increases NCL did in 2023 pushed the limits and IMO there is nowhere else to cut and still satisfy today’s cruisers. now it’s time for NCL to become more attractive to the new or casual (no loyalty) cruiser. However, enter MSC, which is now sailing out of NY, Port Canavaral, Miami…to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, NE/Canada. The Breakaway and Joy are especially at risk against MSC. The elimination of SIX snd Footloose will allow BA and Joy to offer competitive pricing. Check out BA pricing for 1Q ‘24. Really good deals. yes, it sucks that NCL has to do this…especially for those of us who knew NCL pre-Covid.
  18. Yes…I just wanted to pay for the cruise to get 3x final payment points to add to the bonus points. Then…start looking for that longer, more expensive cruise to do an OV to BA upgrade. We do have long term BoA relationship…so that will help. Thanks for your insight.
  19. When I worked at an international hospitality company, we had a weekly BLS committee (business, legal, standards)…and NOTHING could be published anywhere without being reviewed by the committee. The committee basically rewrote most of the copy as the original authors were clueless about grammar, punctuation, trademark usage and legal obligations. Took a lot of time but reduced customer confusion and potential litigation.
  20. Thanks…we have final payment due July 13 so I’m holding off as long as I can to apply hoping for a good bonus. I assume with excellent credit they provide same day card number? Has that worked that way for you?
  21. We have several Delta Amex cards and we have never received them. It has only showed up on our Amex brand cards…not Delta co-brand. Wish that would change.
