  1. Coastalbreezes.....reread the quotes and you'll find out that the Prima did not have the makings for a blueberry mojito and the Bird settled for a regular one. It was on a different ship last month in their Haven that had the 🫐 to make the mojito.
  2. But you can reserve seats ahead of time and the Bird said you could reserve multiple shows. On his five day sailing, there were two shows on four of the days at the Improv and the fifth day the two comedians were in the big theater for a 45 minute set. Personally I'm hoping there is a live thread on the 12 day repo cruise from NYC to Galveston that leaves today so I can get a feel for the schedule that should be similar to our 11 day on the 31st.
  3. How about the marketing department at Princess?
  4. That is available on the Prima on deck 6 atrium bar just outside of casino called the Penrose.
  5. Truly a first world problem. But, free is free. Should be an easy decision.
  6. You actually think that MSC is not an entry level cruise line comparable to RCI, NCL and Carnival? They are certainly not on the level of Celebrity, Princess and HAL, let alone Viking. There are many from the states that have tried MSC and hate it, unless they have stayed in the YC. We currently have a booking for July on the Meraviglia out of Brooklyn. Our precious cruise on MSC was four years ago on the Seaside when she was brand new. We got a great rate on an inside YC cabin since we would never pay what NCL wants for the Haven and we wanted to experience the ship within a ship concept. Very nice experience, but the European skewed shows and no comedy club or piano bar was a letdown. We'll see how the Meraviglia is. Contemplating 14 days on the Seascape in the summer of 2024
  7. I don't think that the problem is getting a seat in the theater for Donna Summer, Noise Boys or Price is Right. The problem is the small capacity for comedy at the Improv and even more so at Syd's for the handful of shows there. As more people complain hopefully the Rumours show will be moved to the theater so more people can see it.
  8. Certainly wasn't a STD. His female partner said she felt like she was dating a priest because of the low number of partners he had been with. Karma got her of course when she ended up being left behind in Gibraltar.
  9. MSC is just as much a "family" line as Carnival is. MSC is an entry level cruise line, similar to RCI, NCL and Carnival. I also realize that the lack of a comedy club and the type of entertainment that's offered in the main showroom is because of the multiple languages that are on board that needs to be catered to. And you obviously have not recently sailed on one of the Edge Class ships that Celebrity has because it blows away anything that Celebrity has had in over 30 years and I have sailed on each and every class of ship that Celebrity has put out over that time period. I don't put all of my eggs in one basket. Have cruised on Carnival, Royal, NCL, MSC, Celebrity and Princess. No cruise line is perfect, they all have their pluses and minuses, but please don't blow smoke that your beloved MSC is the perfect family line and that Carnival is full of two fisted drinkers. If that's the only type of cruiser that sailed on Carnival they would not be the largest cruise line in the world.
  10. It's the name of the Bailey's substitute that is covered by the drink package.
  11. With the recent announcement of the influx of additional ships that will be coming into the US market, it's obvious that they are planning to attempt to gain more market share. The easiest way to do this will be to continue being the value leader price wise especially if it contains the easy or easy plus package, which will undercut Carnival after factoring in the price of Cheers. Once enough people in the US are aware of the pricing, MSC will possibly overtake Carnival as the value leader and of course the percentage of "party people" that goes along with it. No matter what MSC's marketing plan is, if they are the cheapest cruise option with a drinks package, then a certain type of cruiser will follow.
  12. I had assumed you would have been a good Samaritan by buying people a can of Pepsi for them to enjoy since it's your favorite....oh wait....😉
  13. You forgot to factor in the 20% gratuity so that only gives you 3 nights of Bailey's.
  14. No s**t, I was just following your lead. Thread should have died after 2 pages.
  15. Hardcore party animals are usually upset over the fact that Carnival limits their drink package to 15 per day, so MSC may actually be a better option. Plus MSC does have promotions that include either the easy or easy plus package at times, as opposed to Carnival that never has Cheers included unless it's a casino promo for gamblers.
  16. Possibly the theater is where all of the shows occur and the club is the name for after the shows when they move the seats back and turn it into a club atmosphere.
  17. The easy drink package is very basic so I would recommend the easy plus package, which is a happy medium and has enough choices for most drinkers. We have a reservation on the Meraviglia next July out of Brooklyn in a Fantastica inside cabin with included easy plus package and wifi. All in without gratuities is just under 800 pp.
  18. Way! And on Celebrity, they only charge 10, but it's still 1.00 more because their basic package tops out at 9.00.
  19. I believe that because the ship was going to Bermuda, proof of vaccination was still required.
  20. Obviously a ship that is over 90 K tons larger should have bigger pools. A good comparison would be to the Edge Class ships, which it seems the Prima is styled after. The main pool is at least 25 yards long on the Edge and the Apex.
  21. 100% personal preference. Many love the Haven, many prefer to cruise more often. Many only cruise with a balcony, others would choose an inside and splurge on the Vibe.
