  1. Plan on having sufficient time do get this done. You will first speak to a Princess EZAir person who will be able to do absolutely NOTHING. She will then transfer you to a real EZAir person. This will be the individual who will actually be able to address your issue. You will then have the opportunity to explain the entire thing over again. You cannot simply ask to be transferred to a real EZAir person during your first contact. Don't be discouraged. This is just the way it works. It's the system Princess/EZAir have in place for us all to work within. Each time you hold for a different person, be prepared to wait for an hour or more. I always put myself in a place where I can make the call then set the phone down while I do other things during the extended waiting periods.
  2. Thank you @Nunagorasfor your helpful and concise response. You've eliminated my uncertainty with your laser focused answer. The key thing you have addressed that others have missed completely is my concern over the ability to purchase multiple packages.... "You may purchase as many packages as you want." Exactly what I an hoping to be able to do. Much appreciated!! A related question, if I may. Does MSC allow passengers to bring aboard soft drinks in containers? We often purchase 12 pack cans of specialty Coke or Pepsi products (those specialty drinks that none of the cruise lines ever stock) and bring them aboard with us. As I said in my very first post, we are new to MSC and having never cruised with them, are not aware of various MSC specific rules.
  3. Thank you for your helpful and concise response. You've eliminated my uncertainty with your focused answer. Much appreciated!!
  4. Clearly you are a lot smarter than I am so I'll dive a bit deeper into the source of my confusion. Included in my original post is the question: Are they selling just the one package of 10 canned sodas for the entire 23 day sailing? Please advise if the stated "$19 per cabin" is a daily charge that can be purchased for each day of the cruise or for some lesser number of days. OR Is this beverage selection something that can be purchased only ONCE during the entire cruise? Our sailing is 10 days. Can we spend $190 and buy this package for all 10 days? Can we spend $95 and buy this package for only 5 days?
  5. Thanks but the "Alcohol-free package" is of no interest to us. We are looking ONLY for soft drinks and have no interest in all of the other offerings included in this package. Hence the question about the "Soft Drink and Ice Cream" Package.
  6. The room stewards are extremely busy on embarkation day. With this in mind, it might be best to just call room service yourself and ask for the fridge contents to be exchanged.
  7. Is everyone talking about “writing up” someone using one of the cruise line printed cards available at guest services that are turned back to guest services or using one of the 4 (or is it 5?) places provided in the post cruise survey that is emailed out after the cruise?
  8. Getting back to my original question, then the consensus is that OBC CANNOT be used for ANYTHING prior to actually setting foot aboard the ship?
  9. Exactly what I did and where the information (re-pasted below) I copied and pasted in my original post came from. This is from the "Beverages" tab on my reservation.
  10. This will be our first MSC cruise. Sailing from Durban to Italy in April/May 2023. Neither of us drink alcohol so we are looking for a soft drink package. On other lines there is a per day charge for a soft drink package. For our sailing, the only thing I can find on the MSC webpage is this: I'm not at all sure what this is saying. Is $19 a per day charge for the cabin?, per day charge per person?. Are they selling just the one package of 10 canned sodas for the entire 23 day sailing? Really confused!!!
  11. The CB remains our second favorite Princess ship behind the Coral (which we're unlikely to see anytime soon). Our next outing on her is this Oct. Looking forward to it with great anticipation. Don't let the naysayers ruin it for you.
  12. And it's well past the 3rd of June!!!

    OBC

What can OBC be used for on MSC prior to boarding? I understand that by definition, OBC is OnBoard credit - got that. This will be our very first sailing on MSC so not familiar with the rules here. We've sailed on Princess, RCCL, Viking, Celebrity and even Carnival. Each allows OBC to be used for selected purchases (think, excursions). What does MSC allow?
