  1. How very cool! Thank you for sharing.
  2. I suppose there will be those among us!!
  3. Am I allowed to wear shorts in the main dining room for dinner?
  4. The WORST interned at sea is on the Emerald. Be prepared.
  5. Is there really a difference? On some cruise lines the name of the plan is the only difference.
  6. Really?? Our first X cruise is coming up in August so we are trying to learn as much as possible before then. Am I to understand that at the buffet there are gloves available to pax as we enter? As one who has picked up noro on a cruise a couple of years back, I'm eager to do anything reasonable to keep from going there again!!
  7. The wifi package we are looking at (April 20 on the Orchestra out of Durban) is $404 pre-cruise. The MSC website clearly states prices will be higher once onboard. Can anyone help us understand just how much of an upcharge we might expect? We have OBC to spend and wondering if what we have will cover it?
  8. I sense a lot of not so latent hostility!!🤣
  9. In the future (admittedly this will not help your current situation) ALWAYS go to the airline site and confirm then reconfirm the fact that your flights show "Ticketed" and not "Pending", "On Request" or some other similar term. This is especially true whenever using a TA or consolidator, e.g., Flights by Celebrity, EZAir, etc. Unless the word "Ticketed" shows on the AIRLINE SITE you do not have tickets.
  10. Check daily (both EZAir and the airline site) or risk the consequences. We are all responsible for our own travel. It's just plain foolish to think anyone else is more interested in your travel (or anything else) than you are.
  11. After check in opens and arrival times become available to select, what are typically the earliest times that are available?
  12. Very top of the home page, in the red bar. NOTE: The Rewards “button” wasn’t available/visible on my phone. I had to go to my MacBook in order to see and click on the Rewards :”button”.
  13. Membership IS required to buy certain gift cards but Carnival and Princess are not among those requiring membership. However, keep in mind that you must register in the “Rewards” program to purchase Carnival and Princess gift cards (and a lot of other cards). I did so and it opened up the option to purchase these gift cards. Once registered, you will see that there are cards with a note attached that say “Membership Required”. This statement is NOT included on Carnival and Princess gift cards. If you do not register for the Rewards program (NOT AARP membership) their system will not allow you to purchase anything. Again, I purchased two $500 cards and I’m NOT a member of AARP and have no intention of ever doing so. I would explain why but I’d get my hand slapped.
  14. I’ve also received useless word salad from @Emmas gma. I’m seeing a pattern here.
  15. Requested status match earlier this week. Sent our Princess Elite documentation. Two days later our status as Diamond appeared. From 0 points to 10,000 instantly!!
  16. NOTHING in this world is free including these test kits. Surely you understand basic economics.
  17. Absolutely incorrect. One must register in the reward section to be able to access the gift cards but NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.. Just yesterday I bought 2 - $500 cards and applied them to an existing booking. I am NOT an AARP member.
  18. No. They were delivered electronically so I sent the card numbers and PINs to my TA to use to make final payment for an upcoming sailing I was a few dollars short on.
  19. Just yesterday I bought two $500 gift cards on the AARP site (don't have to be a member for Princess cards) for $900. Never heard of raise.com
