  1. https://travel.usnews.com/Bermuda/When_To_Visit/ Best Times to Visit Bermuda The best time to visit Bermuda is in March or April, when the temperate weather becomes pleasant for beach bathing (though not quite warm enough yet for swimming). Hotel prices during these months aren't as high as they are in Bermuda's busy season, from May to October. If you're more interested in golf, plan your trip for the wintertime. Unlike the Caribbean, Bermuda is relatively cool in the winter, so you'll score the greatest discounts at hotels and enjoy fewer crowds at top attractions. But, that's just one of many articles that express opinions of when the best time is to visit Bermuda.
  2. That's an easy question to ask when you know that it can't be answered with a fully qualified answer because of the rules.
  3. It's all in where you look on Royal's fantastic 🤭 website FAQ. On the following link you will not see any mention of "CANS" of soda in the Deluxe Beverage Package unless you click the "Learn More" link. However, it doesn't seem like anything is standardized. For example: I've only had the "Refreshment Package" on one cruise and the FAQ doesn't mention a thing about milk shakes but they are included. You have to go looking in other places on their site. I have also asked for a can of soda to go along with my small glass of soda and got one with no problem: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/booked/beverage-packages
  4. I've got an idea, why don't we just do away with the exclusivity of the Coastal Kitchen, hell let's do away with all exclusivity on Royal, et al. That way nobody will have to lie, cheat, sneak, whatever. That will increase the value of suite cruising, for sure. Why not just allow anybody to bring on the ship as much of whatever alcohol they want. I'm sure that won't effect our fare prices, at all. Let's put a playground in the Solarium, while we are at it. EDITED IN: BTW, that was not intended towards the OP. I'm sure the question was pure in its intent.
  5. The Windjammer has all the milk cartons you'll ever need. Just grab a few and put them in your cabin's fridge/cooler. Have protein powder in it original container and your in good shape, never miss a beat. Mix it up in your cabin and feel like Superman/girl for the rest of the day. I know, that's what I do. I have to have extra protein daily because of stomach surgery.

  7. Again Thanks, but I was think more of not letting the beer go flat. If I don't drink all the beer in the bucket, I want to take it back to the cabin and put it in the fridge/cooler to drink with carbonation, later. Some places/bars that sell beer by the bucket insist/say it's the law to open all beer container at the point of sale.
  8. Yes, there has always been ways to waive the requirement that everybody in the cabin (21 and over) had to buy the Deluxe package. But, it always involved the person not wanting the package had some type of reason for not drinking alcohol. My wife does intend on having a drink or two and I like to be up front or honest about what I'm doing.
  9. I ONLY carry the cup if I'm going to the Promenade Deck and then back right away to my cabin/suite or to the Windjammer (which I very rarely go to the Windjammer)
  10. Oh, forgot to ask, do they open the bottles/cans at purchase time?
  11. Thanks for the info. That's what I was trying to figure out. I'm not a big time drinker. Don't get me wrong, I love adult beverage but I'm a social drinker. On my next cruise, Oct 31st, we are just going to get the soft drink package because we aren't going with the usual crowd, just my wife and I. I've crunched the numbers and it just doesn't seem to be advantages to purchase the Deluxe package. So, if I want to have a beer or two, I'll get the bucket and if it's only available at the "Pool Bar", I'll go there, get it, and go to wherever I want to go with it. But, at about $90.00 per day, I don't drink that much and my wife may have one or two adult beverages a cruise. But, we do love our milkshakes and the "Freestyle Coke" machines.
  12. Does Royal still sell buckets of beer cans/bottles (with beer in them) in ice at the various bars?
  13. Yes it is. I appreciate whomever made it. I don't think it is totally up to date as it shows Dining and show reservations are available, unless they are actually available once on the ship through the app, but they aren't available pre-embarkation on the app or on the website, as far as I know. But again, it's a great little info source.
  14. If I'm not mistaken the Quantum Class ships were designed with the northern climates in mind, not exclusively though. Quantum Class is very versatile.
  15. We've got a booking on the Harmony in Jan 2024. I sure hope they have the Solarium Bistro, at least for supper. I love the Baklava that is served in there. I honestly don't know if Baklava is served in any other venue on the ship. I do know that on our last cruise, May, Alaska, Ovation. I mentioned, when our Genie told us that the Solarium Bistro was closed, that I really really liked the Baklava and will really miss getting some. Well, one night in Chops Grill, the Genie delivered a huge portion of Baklava to the table, to my/our surprise. I couldn't have been any more impressed. It was great too.
  16. Do you feel they help? Not that they will in my case. We are all different. Is your audiologist a civilian Dr., or VA/Military. I find that a civilian Dr will proscribe just about anything because they sell the product themselves or have a kickback from the manufactures, or both. VA or Military have no monetary benefit beyond their paycheck. No, I'm not saying your audiologist is scamming you. My comment is more of a generalized comment, or my personal experience.
  17. As long as the crew/anybody are not doing anything illegal, immoral, or fattening, it's none of anybody's business, especially masking.
  18. We all have had varying degrees of security issues on and off a cruise ship. I'm always an advocate of security anything that has any value to you. THAT IS ALL!
  19. We were on the Ovation last May. I can't recommend it. Not that I don't recommend it, I just can't because it wouldn't be fair. When we were on the Ovation, it was its second revenue cruise post COVID and the beginning of the Alaska Cruise season. Because of COVID still going around and the paranoia associated with it, the crew was not at 100% and many venues weren't operating, and supply chain issues. We really didn't experience the Ovation to it's fullest potential. It is a beautiful ship though. We ate most of our meals in the Coastal Kitchen and the specialty restaurants, never did the MDR, Windjammer (I did the Windjammer for Bacon in the morning) or Solarium (the solarium bistro (or what ever the restaurant is called up there) was closed). All was good. However, the crew, as always, was great. But, the crew is always changing and I'd bet it isn't the same crew there today than what we had back in May. If the crew is at 100%, all venues open, and they worked around their supply chains issues, I'd highly recommend the Ovation. But, I don't know what the status is. I'd bet a dollar to a donut that it is good now.
  20. Wish I could answer your question directly and specifically. But, I can't. I do know Royal Caribbean features Coke products. Not much help, eh!

  22. This menu is not ship specific but I believe Solarium Bistros are generally the same. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/menus/solarium-bistro-menu-sample.pdf
