  1. Walmart of the seas is too generous for them! They must be going for dollar store of the seas, or johnnys bargain store of the seas!
  2. I mean not defrauding anyone of anything. Just these big companies know there is nothing anyone can do about their unethical fraudulent behavior.
  3. Bunch of fraudsters and criminals. You try to do something like that and see how long it takes for you to get sued.
  4. Some know it all on here said the escort had nothing to do with the fight and it was routine in nature and the others went along with yet more disinformation, but hey, thats the world we live in with alternative facts if there is such a thing.
  5. Good for them, hope they enjoy it! All I know is we will avoid any beach resort on cruise ship days
  6. Too many acronyms bad abbreviations to even try to decipher what is being said here. Was the experience good?
  7. Soon we will no longer book any cruises on this line. With all the cutbacks, we dont see any benefits. A land vacation to a nice beach resort are will suit us just fine. We never really minded the downfalls of being trapped on a ship, because they were outweighed by the benefits. Not so much any more. Tired of the small rooms with the AC that may or may not work, the limited times in the ports, the lines to get off and on and the lackluster food available.
  8. Sounds like the concierge had the same attitude as the rest of the ship that the customers are a real bother, and only deserve the absolute minimum even if less than what is advertised and paid for. I hope they go hull up!
  9. What a bunch of criminals. Its behavior such as this that tarnishes the entire industry.
  10. If there is a major incident at sea, sadly, its going to be every man for themselves, regardless of any drill one attends.
  11. We were there multiple times, and just love it. Always find something to do even if it is to just relax. It really is a perfect day, especially in the nice weather!
  12. You should be more worried about the bathroom setup in the cabin. It’s quite disgusting.
  13. No, they are trying to save money or there is a problem. If it was because of the doors, all the cruise ships would be like that, and they definitely are not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. They probably highlight the title when they post the letter on their bulletin board to make it seem even more ridiculous. LOL LOL LOL. I bet it won the prize!
  15. If they know they cannot provide a service, but sell it anyway, thats fraud. Are you saying the company is fraudulent? I agree the OP should have complained onboard, Too late now!
  16. It’s optional, like a donation to the company to pay its crew. You have every right to question how your donation is being spent. There’s a reason they are not transparent and make it optional, i am guessing so thats their excuse when someone finally catches up with their perceived fraudulent behavior
  17. I’ve been told the staff gets the same exact amount each week. Exactly the same. How can that be if the tips go to the employees? You mean to say there is the same amount of passengers giving the exact same amount of tips each week? Absurd. You are just reimbursing the cruise line for the salary they are obligated to pay anyway. Shareholders and executives benefit.. That’s about it.
  18. And not benefitting the crew whatsoever by paying it.
  19. Or spreading out the work so they do the same amount of work for the fixed salary they are going to receive, no matter how many tables they wait on.
  20. The only thing that is transparent would be the $3.55 for the cabin steward. How can you tip an entire dining room? That’s far from transparent, and other hotel service is a joke. its a money grab pure and simple, and i dont believe the crew sees any of it directly, and would bet their pay stays exactly the same week to week.
  21. Must be a nightmare to figure out how much an individual steward gets. First, they would have to figure out what cabins they serviced, then how many passengers were in each cabin, to determine how much money they are entitled to. Then they have to deduct for the people that removed the charges and now deduct even more from people that paid early. Not too hard when you have to figure it out for a few people, but the entire crew? Yikes! And then, how do they show the math to the employees so they can check to see if there is a mistake?
  22. The 50 was plenty. If it weren’t for the kids, we wouldn’t have left anything. Not even sure what their purpose is.
