  1. So excited for you both and looking forward to @HelloItsMeB insights, as well. Merry Christmas🎄 and Happy New Year 🍾from somewhere in the Pacific, Hawaii bound. Yay - another installment of Flags at Sea!!🇨🇱
  2. Thermal Suite time: Ceramic chairs always occupied, but not just now when I came in, so I am able to share a few pictures. When you enter, immediately to the right, are 3 chairs with reading lights and 2 columns of towels. To the left of the door is a refreshment station w/ice water. The sign used to show time limit of 20 minutes; it now has 30 minutes. Across the room are 4 chairs that don't seem to get as hot as the ones in the middle. I was only able to get 3 in this picture but there are 4. Glad to see a clock has been added. But the robe hooks have been removed. In the middle are 4 chairs with direct water view. My view People are coming in so I will try to get pictures of the other areas another time. Grr - cannot get rid of this duplicate pic.🤨
  3. MDR breakfast line was long this morning, but it moved quickly. I started w/grapefruit (very good) and had one of the daily specials, hold the coconut, and a side of ham (which they forgot). Couple selections from tablemates. Banana Bread French was voted Best in Class (1 vote but that's all it took, lol)
  4. Santa 🎅 boarded st 10 this morning. Line was very long, so there must be a lot of "Nice" on board. My experience aligns w/that as I haven't encountered any "Naughties." Even Mrs Claus was rushing to help
  5. For HAL you do not, but one of your destinations could still require it. There are not many anymore, but it would be worth you checking the requirements for the places you're going. As cases are rising again, places are starting to put in restrictions/requirements again. Enjoy your cruise!
  6. 4 forward, Starboard. I will happily give the number at the end of the cruise. If you want it before then for booking purposes, just shoot me an email telizking at yahoo dot com 😊
  7. Great days!! Would try the drink and wine, offer fresh rhubarb pie (no recipe to share as I'm on my phone & recipe is not), not been to the port, important days in history. Went to the crew Christmas program last night then stayed for Midnight Mass. Today is Hyrdopool, ceramic chair & Santa's arrival. Bow cam view from K'dam Aft cam view from K'dam Merry Christmas, hope everyone has a blessed day. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  8. Oh my, Poohby Joe looks absolutely festive in his Christmas finest! And don't we feel honored - he put on pants!! The picture is great; thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and Michelle. @Huskerchick
  9. Merry Christmas. We are preparing for Midnight Mass on K'dam.
  10. I needed Premium for Teams and Skype calls as well as for wifi calls. TA Rome->FLL.
  11. Santa Claus 🎅 is coming to town. Well, he's really coming to sea - he'll be here 10am tomorrow morning!!
  12. The Enrichment Talks I've been to have been presented by Olga Stavrakis, PhD. I haven't been to all of them - the ones I have gone to are marked in purple. I assume she's done the others, but cannot say for sure based on the way they're listed. The Cruise & Travel Dir is giving the port talks (very much canned - she reads them). Dr Stavrakis reads from a prepared presentation, but seems to be comfortable w/the material although she does not take questions. It's really like attending a history class lecture. I just assumed she put them together and is doing them because she's an expert (she has a PhD in anthropology). I have not seen them listed on the TV and don't think you can see them if you miss the presentation. The Hawaiian ambassador events that I've walked past have been well attended, but I haven't made it to any yet - schedule conflict, too many choices 🫣
  13. Dinner tonight was good; service (once again) was slow. 2 people had the goose - they really enjoyed it, 1 had the Morimoto lobster 🦞 & said it was the best lobster she's had on a ship and one of the best she's ever had. I had the pork belly. They brought out the best napkin rings Ate the small piece of pork belly, gave the large piece away Cherry Almond Bread Pudding was more like flan - it was really good; 3 (of 7) at our table had it. Chocolate Yule Log
  14. Ok, well stand by for an update - heading out to dinner now. I wish i could see it. A little picture preview of each dessert would be nice.
  15. Yes, it's wonderful! I am there 2x/day and would probably sleep there if they didn't kick me out, lol. The loungers against the far wall do not get as warm as the ones in the middle. I haven't used the ones nearest the door yet, so I can't speak to their warmth level. Those have reading lights.
  16. Sounds yummy doesn't it? Have you had one? That's my backup if I don't like the bread pudding. Server last night did not gush about the bread pudding, so we'll see. If you tell me you've had the yule log & it's awesome, I'll switch right now!!
  17. Time to play a little catch up (no, not ketchup like the condiment - catch up like I'm behind in posting due to the fabulous send off I had). So, here are the first 4 days of Dailies, bringing us current. 🤞Please, Santa, all I want for Christmas (as of now, anyway) is for these to load in the correct order...🫣 Plus 2 extra bonus items, cuz it's the season of gift giving 😉 Tree lighting ceremony program Entertainment Guide - I've not seen one of these before; I like it.
