Promo, yes - the last one I received 😪Got cabin assignment about 2 weeks ago; it's a sideways layout. I could not find the exact cabin or similar ones on Halfacts and I know that "efficient" is code for "tiny," lol. Hope there's room for the bed to be set up as a queen and still have a walking path. My sister had an inside w/a window (different ship) and she had to go w/twin beds to have room to move. What an adventure!

I appreciate the tip on free buses. I do want to go to Volcanic National Park.

Correct the wifi w/the regular HIA is not premium. It was $50 to upgrade on a recent 14 day cruise; at day 7, that dropped to $40 and on day 4 it was $20. Those prices are 1 person, single device. There is a "beefier" HIA package that includes grats and premium wifi, so you would need to verify which HIA package you have.

Thanks for the confirmation - I enjoy them in most places. I briefly looked at one the ship has for sale, don't even remember which port now, but think it's the blue line.

Hotel GM Mustafa said all ships have to be compliant by 2027 and this was HALs first to be done, so many similar modifications are coming to the rest of the fleet. Some of the changes are obvious, but others are more subtle. The removal of the casino staircase was to accommodate enlarging the casino. The Explorations Cafe Bar is really different and looks great. It seems to make that entire area look bigger even though the overall footprint didn't change.

Your onboard spending statement (the one available on the TV & Navigator App while onboard). It is available on both the Navigator App and online; online is only after cruise is finished. During the cruise/while onboard, statement in Navigator App will be "live" mirroring what you see on the TV. After the cruise, both online and Navigator App will have a pdf available. If you're account is tied to another cruiser, you will see a message that your statement is not available. In that case, you'll have to get it from the other person. Screensots are a walk through of how to access the statement from Navigator App after a cruise.

Last time I was on K'dam was last Dec for Mexican Riviera - love the ship and Grand Dutch Cafe. DH is working, so this will be interesting.

CO was not updated during the recent drydock (Nov 10-25) on NS. Some updates: Modifications throughout the ship to be ADA compliant (wider doorways, push buttons, lower sinks, new signs,...) Casino staircase was removed to allow for it to be expanded. Kids Club revamped to included a family friendly gameroom. Spa completely redone. Explorations Central bar redesigned. I know I've left something out. Other than ADA modifications (including bathrooms where applicable), cabins were not updated in terms of finishes, bedding, carpet, etc as these were still mostly in good condition. The changes were mostly in public areas.

Strangely on our last cruise, we ended up being off by 1, having 1 less form than bags. Every time we asked for just a form (to even us out), we got both a bag & a form, lol. So bags won!! But, yes, do be sure to ask for an extra form.
