Allegro is the tucked away MDR isn't it? How cheeky trying to hide it.

I got my shareholder OBC. The 25 will be issued on the first day of sailing.
-
I am on Majestic on 10 Dec and got the AUD $25~ email today.
-
I did ask in another thread as there are no indication if it is per cabin, per customer or per adult in room. Next, the statement: "to those on Standard cruise fare or Plus/Premier bundles purchased prior to 14 December 2022.", I read it as "those on Standard cruise fare" will get OBC, "or Plus/Premier bundles purchased prior to 14 December 2022.", this is before the price increase for package and they do not have access to e.g. free casual dinning + Ocean Now ordering.
-
Also note that this charge is for standard fare guest and Plus/Premier purchase before December 14, 2022

Noticed how it says "AU $25~ " So it can mean 1 per cabin or 1 per passenger ~ Around can mean A$1 for 2 day cruise and A$25 for WC Can anyone confirm? Thanks. -
Hmm - last time with P&O for us.

You must have had some good play. Out of curiosity, how many points did you accrue during the cruise? -

Sigh... I love cruising and think that cruising is the destination where port days onboard are the best. However, my missus wants to go down on every port, even Noumea which we have been 5 times. It is inconvenience too these days; been parked at the industry port. -
Majestic Princess boarding time

I checked and actually I lied. Normal check out at pullman is 11am. So, 12pm is fine. Boarding probably open at ~11am. -
Majestic Princess boarding time
Zetta83 replied to lesands77's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
I checked mine and it states: "Your ship begins boarding at 12:00PM on Dec 10 and sets sail at 04:00PM on Dec 10." Which makes me think if it is a case of different voyage different boarding time, or the boarding time is an hour earlier for EPS? Either way, I will be chased out of my hotel by 10am and be at the Pier by 10.30am latest. I will sit there like a homeless dude with my bags and coffee until they open. -
Majestic Princess boarding time
Zetta83 replied to lesands77's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Yes. On Encounter it was a dash into the hall and straight upstairs. But there are still separate queues for byron. Funny thing is, during COVID, the lines for cruise ready was way longer than the not ready. However the staff was dispatching both queues alternatingly. The cruise ready queue sure were upset being trapped in an enclosed space with hundreds of cruise ready passengers while the not cruise ready whizz by. -
Princess Shareholder question for Aussies
Zetta83 replied to Cbtours's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
As your cruises next year are in July and Aug. I doubt that they have been applied. Shareholder benefit can only be applied within 90 days? -

On both my P&O cruises at Whitebay, the times were used as sequence to check in and boarding. This is of course with the exception of Bryon club and privileged casino guest. -
Disney Cruise - November 2023
Zetta83 replied to Kangakid's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Same here. The cruiser in me started comparing what Disney can give vs other cruises at the same price point. Finally we decided to just fit Disney during our trip to Japan and skip this one. -
The carry over is for RC. If you achieve 2500 pts in a year starting 1 April, you get PRIME status for the rest of the year + the following year till 31 March. This gives you 1 free cruise + free drinks in the casino. Along the way, if you get 1200pts in a single sail, you get limited interior for 2 + tax if you book at Next cruise. How much is 2500 pts? 1 pt = $5USD in slots. So $12.5k USD if you played slots and not win a single pull. I cannot account for luck and do not know the payback percentages of cruises.

Yes Pacific Dawn was my first ship, perfect size for me. Encounter and Adventure are quite the same and just lacks some character. That's just me. -
Yes. Great deal. Wanted to do it, but I got kids 😑
-
Wonderful. If I really want to go down the free cruise route, it will definitely be with RC. At least you know how many points = how much FP or room type on what sailing. Carnival ones depend on a bunch of factors including the other cruiser's potential hourly losses compared to yours.

Hmm - last time with P&O for us.
Zetta83 replied to bazzaw's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Personally, it depends. As QLD goes into school holidays 1 -2 weeks earlier than NSW, it was cheaper for me to fly, accom, uber + cruise from Sydney than Brisbane doing sch holidays. I did this for the last 2 cruises on Adventure, will do it for Majestic, then again in June 24 for Splendor. -
Best way to get to White Bay Cruise Terminal?
Zetta83 replied to Lanwood's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
I did uber for the past 3 times. -
As for the casino topic, I play between 50-200 each cruise for leisure but have never received anything. I believe I am classified as the waste of time customer, spending min and purchasing the cheapest cabin who barely spends any money outside of inclusions.

The lowest I got post covid was a 8 nights P&O inside for 4 pax in June (school holidays for QLD and not NSW). That was 44 per night per pax. Factoring in flights (points+ taxes), uber, parking, hotel, it came to 65 per night per person. For my next is a princess. Factoring in flights (points+ taxes), uber, parking, hotel is 84 per night per person. Also got 300 OBC, room cat upgrade and 2 speciality dining. This is all booked earlier this year.
