I walked in the one on our recent (27 March - 6 April) Enchanted cruise. They sure did their best cramming as many games and rides in that space. 🙄 Unbelievable. No matter the time and everytime I walked by the place it was always empty. Move the photo gallery and the arts gallery on the Enchanted to the old Churchills and turn the space where the photo gallery and art gallery is into a dedicated Platinum/Elite Lounge. 🍻
Agree. Would I like to see all inside smoking done away with on Princess ships. Yes. But I only blame Princess for allowing it and not the smoker. On our recent Enchanted cruise it was nice to see (not smell) Churchills was no longer a smoking lounge. Now a stupid arcade. Come on Princess couldn't you have done better!
We were on the Enchanted Princess from 27 March to 6 April 2024. We liked the medallion. But didn't use it to its full potential as my phone was off and stashed in one of the nightstand drawers next to the bed.
Never. Luggage tags and cruise documents will and have always been available ~30 days prior to your sail date. Xpress pass is available ~60 days prior to your sail date. Check in is available ~45 days prior to your sail date. I never print the documents out. Personal choice to print anything out.
I first downloaded the RC app January 2022. The one and only time I was forced to change my password was just the other day. No issues since. Works also for the website.
Are you clicking on the person Icon, then scrolling down and tapping on "manage your booking" and then on the next page scrolling down and tapping on "main dining seating time, anytime"? Once opened you will see 3 options. "Anytime", "Early" and "Late". Selecting anytime will give you days and times to select from.
Oh how I remember those long lines waiting to get to the counter at the embarkation terminal. I agree checking in online is great and hope that never goes away. It's picking a time (yes I'm one of those that wants to get the earliest time so I sit and watch the clock waiting eagerly until that option opens up to pick a time. 🤣) to show up at the embarkation terminal is what I believe needs to be done away with. All our 2022 and 2023 cruises were with Celebrity and RC at PE and LA. I picked a pre cruise time to show up for all and no one even asked to see our arrival time for check in.
I disagree. We both are in our mid 70s, RDINKs and always cruise in March (RC, Celebrity and Princess). No less than 7 nights. We've never encountered out of control kids, no matter their age. Just cruised on the Enchanted. 27 March to 6 April. We've never cruised Carnival (but who cares this is about Princess) or less than 7 nights.
I find it interesting to read both positive and negative opinions and experiences. When booking I (we) never consider anything I've read. I'll (we'll) make my own judgments based on our experiences and opinions of the cruise.
IMO, it's time for Celebrity to do away with the pre-cruise check-in time.🙄 Recently was on a Princess cruise and no pre-cruise check-in time required. Arrived at the terminal (PE) at 11:05 and was on the ship NLT 11:30. Lots of agents checking guests in.
