  1. No self service laundry on Celebrity and RC either. Not complaining.
  2. Might be part of the Go Green program. Getting an extra CC point.
  3. We'd like to see Princess add a Wash n Fold CC (Palatium) perk like Celebrity CC (Elite and above) and RC CAS (Diamond Plus and above) does. Neither of us wants to do laundry while on a cruise. I guess we'll have to make Elite with the Princess CC.
  4. 30 days from the booking date is the window to transfer to a TA. In my experiences no requirement to rebook if the booking is transferred to a TA and even if they are offering a better deal. No lose of any perks offered by Princess when transferring to a TA. I have always received the TA perks also. That's my incentive to transfer to a TA. I never let the booking(s) go automatically/directly go to the TA on record.
  5. I agree 100% with @Potstech. We were on the Enchanted 27 March - 6 April 2024. We ate in the Amalfi MDR, DMW, 6:PM, same two top table every night. No matter the evening I wore dockers and a golf style shirt. My wife slacks and a girly fancy top. One of the so called formal evenings a family of four sat next to us after we were seated. Mom wore shorts and a nice top. Dad wore shorts and a golf style shirt. Their daughter (14/15 y/o (?) wore a dress and their son (14/15 y/o(?) slacks and a golf style shirt. We all spoke briefly and we all enjoyed our wine and meals.
  6. No problem. I still have my trustworthy Magic 8 Ball. 🎱 It says, "cannot predict now".
  7. So you are going to lean out over the opened window to clean the outside of it? Yikes.
  8. I realize that I was only agreeing with your comment. ✌️ IMO, no perks/benefits should be given to non elite cruiser.
  9. Is the shuttle available in the CP pre-cruise? If so do a mock booking to see what times are available. That early of a flight I'd be looking at doing a self disembarkation and grabbing a cab or arranging Ubar.
  10. This thread is a great example why we don't book a cruise line, ship, itinerary, cabin, etc. based on others experiences and opinions, positive and negative. I enjoy reading and respect everyone's opinions. Whether I agree with someone or not doesn't make either of us wrong or right.
  11. Cabins are ready for carryon drop off as soon as you board the ship. That's where you will also pick up your Seapass card. You are asked not to linger in your cabin. The general announcement will be made around 1:PM that cabins are ready.
  12. We wish RC would bring back the Tutti Salad in the MDR for a lunch option on sea days.
  13. My wife is also and we were both surprised it never woke her. But we both sleep really sound on the cruises. Especially if there is some motion to the ocean. That's why I said extra light. Especially for us when getting into the safe.
  14. No need for nightlights for us. My wife uses a flashlight when getting up in the night. She claims I'm nocturnal. We didn't find the light with a sensor to be that big of a pain to cover the sensor. It didn't stay on that long and we liked it added extra light when getting to the shelves and safe by the bathroom and closet.
  15. Our first exposure to the medallions was on our recent Enchanted cruise. Was skeptical about them pre cruise. During the cruise, great. And we didn't even use the medallions to their fullest capability. Post cruise, wish Celebrity and RC would go with this technology.
  16. Agree. Having a long good relationship with a TA is priceless. We use to until 2008! Enough said on that.
  17. It was $35.00 p/p. We (all) were reimbursed with a few CC points. Can't remember how many CC points.
  18. Agree. We do too. Walk in a bar during a busy time, they see us, we sit down and no waiting to order our drinks.
  19. I always tell whoever I'm booking (cruise line or a TA) with exactly what we want; ship, date, itinerary, cabin number, etc. IMO, anything above that, best price, discounts, OBC, etc. is part of their job. At least a good agent will. We took our second cruise, first Celebrity Cruise in 1994 on the Zenith. Even had to pay to join the Captains Club. At that time it was called the Founders Club.
  20. We've never cruised in concierge class but have done many B2B cruises. Same limited menu in the MDR for CC and B2B cruisers on TAD. No substitutions. We don't have personal experiences with that but sat with another couple who asked and were denied. They left. Never hurts to ask.
  21. I'd go to GS and get a replacement medallion. No different if the Seapass card or whatever it was called with Princess stopped working.
