This year we have flown from Rome and Barcelona this year following transatlantic cruises. Last week we flew from Bordeaux. Our passports were stamped every time.

For the first time this year we upgraded our insurance to include extra cruise cover. It cost £20 each. We took a Cunard cruise this year and we missed a port. No refund of taxes as they replaced the missed port (Bermuda) with another port. Claimed successfully on the cruise insurance. Definitely worth the small extra premium.

Thanks. That will work for us also, although my DH would prefer me to pack less it just doesn’t happen. It’s beyond me why he doesn’t understand that every outfit needs matching shoes and those shoes need a matching bag. Makes perfect sense to me.

.I apologise for starting a new thread on this subject as I am almost certain I’ve seen something before but I simply can’t find the thread anywhere. We are flying TUI from Manchester to Barbados in PE. Had the notification from P&O giving flight details. It does not actually give the number of hold bags you can take only that the maximum weight is 28kg and no bag to weigh more than 23kg. Plus 1 cabin bag. On other airlines flying in PE you get extra luggage allowance. I have no doubt someone will be able to advise on this.

They didn’t email us. We didn’t know about it until our TA called to ask if we knew we had been moved.

Quite the opposite for us. Booked a mid ship and have been moved to aft. Not wake view - I wish!

Just booked the Crown Grill x 2 plus Sabatini for our upcoming cruise. We were able to book the dates and times we wanted. Would have liked to use obc but not allowed. Credit card charged immediately. Hey ho.

Happy Afloat - Is the obc for November showing on your my P&O cruises. I was so surprised to get this email I almost deleted it thinking it was spam!

This is part of the email we received You don’t have to lift a finger – this credit is automatically applied to your account before departure and an updated booking confirmation will not be sent. You won’t see the balance in My P&O Cruises but you’ll see it once you’re on board for your holiday.

Not taking the chance. Just called and booked PE. If it was short haul we would just go with it but Manchester to Barbados we need a bit of comfort.

We are flying to Barbados in March for a cruise on Arvia. PE economy seats £398 for both of us. We were hoping to get extra legroom seats when they are available but after reading the post by Megabear2 maybe we better have a rethink.

Does anyone know if this is limited to North American guests. Several on our roll call have reported receiving the email. We haven’t nor has the other couple from the UK on the rollcall.

Anyone got any opinion/experience of this venue. We didn’t enjoy our beach break when we were there this last April. Too much seaweed. So thought this might suit us better. I found it on Viator and I assume the charge covers the use of sun beds etc.
