  1. What a story and this is a flashback for me. My dad had a 70s VW similar to this. The green wasn’t as bright but this gives you the idea.
  2. There are 13 still available for our Symphony sailing on September 1st, less than 3 weeks from today.
  3. It’s his cuteness that has you coming back for more. In my 50s and I think it’s the only reason to why Lisa keeps me around. 😀
  4. That sounds 100% correct. The Plaid was basically our cast member that escorted us to the front of every lightening pass line. We came through back hall to doors that brought us out at the front of line or just around the corner. It was very seamless, and no one really knew that we just appeared out of no where.
  5. You can get a “Plaid” at Disney. They are basically a human fast pass to every short line. You can’t cut to the front of the line but you can ride repeatedly ride any ride as much as you want. They can only take you to the park that you have a pass for. For example, if you had a hopper for that day you could go to all of them. If you only had Magic Kingdom it’s the only one you could go to. There is a minimum time frame and if you want more they charge you extra by the hour. It was enough, but worth the experience. We were picked up at our Disney hotel in a suburban at before the park opened. We told him what we wanted to do for the day and he immediately made up a plan for the day. We hit all the parks that day and didn’t need extra time when the minimum time was done. I can remember if it was 6 or 7 hours. We were beat because we never stopped moving, except for lunch. We made sure our Plaid joined us for lunch. We got to see behind the scenes where the cast members park their cars, and come out from behind the scenes walls. We walked down back alleys and halls that no one ever sees. For example at Animal Kindon we parked where the arrows and the wiggly lines are the paths we took. At Epcot the same idea.
  6. Today we celebrate my mother in-law’s Sharon birthday. Lisa got crafty today. Cookie Monster is hungry.
  7. Little known fact, Animal Kingdom is the only park location where the bathrooms have doors at Disney World. Think Jurassic Park, the reason to why.
  8. Thanks for the cabin photos. We are staying in the 2BDR GS on Freedom and it looks very similar. Hope you have a blast with the girls this week. Clearly you are off to a great start.
  9. Looks like the further out terminal at Port Canaveral, not the big new one. Just some chairs in a row.
  10. @CSHS1979 Please pass along birthday wishes to John from our home.
  11. I hope this does the trick. Add my prayers to the homes that have been offered. Sending hugs to you and your family.
