They are showing a White Medallion on my app for our upcoming cruise on the Coral....certainly not an inaugural cruise and I'm not a first time cruiser. So what gives?
Strangely, my hubby's is correct?
Amen!
Tipping has been part of cruising for as long as we have been cruising...44 years. We used to get envelopes and tip the staff on the last night. That was when you would see lots of empty seats in the dining room as the cheapskates skipped dinner so they didn't have to give the tip. It's all a game.
As more and more folks stop tipping, the cruise line will possibly just eliminate the tips and increase the price of the cruise to make up for it. Either way it works for us.
So I heard on another thread that the Medallion app has been improved....we can now see all of our upcoming cruises, etc
So I went and checked to see if the charge for Medallion shipping has been removed and lo and behold it has! At least for now....happy!
But it is still shows a White medallion with a blue Seawitch next to my photo. I don't know what is up with the white medallion?
I usually just use the top sheet over me. I can never get the cabin cool enough at night so I always have my little fan. However, I love the beds they have now!
We sleep on a King at home too and we're not spooners either even after almost 49 years....I get hot at night. Anyway the two twins pushed together are fine, I think more like a King than a queen. And there's no dip at all! Princess beds are so comfy!!
I was listed as a Child! Couldn't do/book anything! I used Princess Chat and they fixed it for me.
But I still have the wrong color Medallion next to my name on the app and they are still charging me $10 to mail the Medallions. I have attempted to get this fixed but so far no one has been able to, so they "escalated" it....4 weeks ago....LOL!
Trying to figure out if a 17 year old traveling with her Mom and the mom gets Princess Plus does the teen also need to purchase Plus even though she can't drink alcohol?
Yes, our checked wine was probably back in 2012. Just an aside, we saved a glass from each bottle for our MDR waiter and actually gave him a whole bottle we weren't fond of and he loved it. Told us we were "too picky"....LOL!
We have put a bottle or two of wine/champagne in our checked luggage just because they were difficult to carry-on with our 2 allowed bottles of champagne. We weren't trying to hide it and if they did call us down we would have just paid the corkage. We actually had a note on the luggage saying they saw the Champagne but there were no repercussions.
