  1. See...now THIS would have been a good use for the branded water bottle from your hotel! 😏
  2. Did you also call and cancel the credit card that was used to make the bid? If not, why not?
  3. Oh gawd . . . the sink is IN the room and not in the bathroom!!! Pray that the Norwegian Epic haters don't see this! 🙄
  4. On the bright side . . . By this time tomorrow, you will be in a better place. With a margarita.
  5. Ditto....follow Sid's live review (Scarlet Lady / Live / Solo - May-21-26-2023)...he is the same demographic that you are and you'll get great insight from the review.
  6. According to the Latitudes Dept: Priority Restaurant & Entertainment Seating: Provides priority seating, based on availability, in main dining rooms. Please visit the hostess stand advising your latitude status and they will take care of the rest. As for entertainment, there is a special section in the theater roped off for the shows you choose to attend. This is applicable to complimentary shows in the theater.
  7. Actually, it is an option (at least according to their website) I do not like wearing things on my wrist, are there other options other than the wearable? --There are plenty of ways to rock The Band based on your style. Wear it as a bracelet, on your belt or simply tuck it in your pocket, we'll give you The Band as a keepsake no matter how you want to carry it. However, if you prefer a key card, we'll have some on standby at the terminal. Please note, fun extras like Shake for Champagne, ShipEats on the pool deck and quick access to events is not available with a standard key card. My question is better defined as "Can you get a key card in ADDITION to the band?" as some folks keep the key cards as souvenirs.
  8. I know they offer it, but do you get a room card as well or are you happy with just the bracelet?
  9. So, I have to ask...how did you get "Sid" on the bracelet? Did VV do that for you? Also... Looking at Virgin's site, they advertise theme parties (PJs and Scarlett night)...do you plan to participate? Have you in the past? How are they?
  10. Unless I missed it in the first 9 pages...what are you hitting the ship with as far as your bar tab? I'm curious to watch that as I want to see how long the VV bar tab lasts... Oh...drink menus from the bars, menus from the restaurants, and daily planners if you have a chance (always appreciated).
  11. Unless you want it to pair better with that margarita...
  12. Sooooo...do you think if you asked at the Pizza Place onboard that they'd make one for you??
  13. You want SOMETHING new in Miami, Sid. Here you go: https://mav.clubexpress.com/ I dare ya...
  14. I probably should point out that the trolley only stops on the west end of Dodge Island (Purple T dots) Nice if you're sailing from Terminal D, E, F, G, J, or V but other than that you will have to walk...
  15. Sounds interesting...nice hotels in Miami. I'm partial (but not exclusive) to the Intercontinental next to the Bayside Marketplace. From there, you can easily grab the Coral Way trolley to the Port of Miami for free.
  16. Hmm, not so obvious, and not that it makes a difference. Even Lao Tze wouldn't have used an imperial measurement. (The problem is "mile", not who might have said it)
  17. Not sure if you've made plans, but if not, https://cozumelbarhop.com/ is a blast in Cozumel.
  18. I think that the giveaway in this belief would be the the "mile" wasn't a unit of measurement that Confucius would have used...
  19. Are you able to accommodate my dietary requests and/or food allergies? Our expansive food and beverage offerings should be able to accommodate most dietary needs and requests, but be sure to ask our Sailor Services Crew before you sail regarding any specific requests or allergy concerns. Please note, we are NOT an allergen-free kitchen. --My advice would be to contact Sailor Services prior to the cruise as they advise in their FAQ. I would also heed the last sentence above as that may have an impact on your concerns.
  20. So, this leaves me curious as to why you would say this. Did someone from MSC say that it was your fault? Did someone try to lay blame on you? Sounds fair. However, I have to ask: what was the main reason that led you to switch from RC to MSC in the first place? What need/want was RC not meeting that steered you to try MSC?
  21. I keep coming back to the thread title Free at Sea Open bar doesn't apply on Harvest Caye.... I kind of thought the answer was obvious since "on Harvest Caye" is NOT "at Sea"
  22. Prices always rise when someone else is paying the bill (ie the items are "free"). This is why medical care is so very expensive...as long as insurance pays for it, who care what the individual prices are?
  23. The thing you have to remember here is that the OP is actually onboard the ship. To use the emergency room analogy, this is like asking random internet people for a diagnosis when you are already IN the emergency room. Besides, this OP isn't really looking for answers or advice. Read his history...this OP likes to start random off-beat topics framed in such a way to induce multiple argumentative responses (iow, threads designed to go "viral"). Why ask people who are literally right there, when you can post on the Internet and potentially cause a message board dust up over nothing?
  24. OMG...if you're actually on the ship then why not just ASK THEM? You have the restaurant, the Latitudes reps, guest services, and even the General Manager RIGHT THERE. Just ASK....🙄
