I prefer the big ships but enjoyed radiance that went to Panama. Very good service and food served hot and good. Surprised. I booked adventure out of PC for the new ports eastern and southern. Still a few ports I'm missing I want to hit. I'll book a smaller ship for the ports if unusual.

St Greg seems to have a standard balcony and posted some pictures already. Should be lots of views soon. I was counting his hangers in his closets. Usually to me carnival has more closet space than rcl. Counters tops look nicer to me.

Lol you mean beating the octopus against a rock isnt enough? I lived out in the country in hawaii with the locals. Wasnt 5 star, but fresh. I was spoiled by fresh fish and seaweed and homegrown hot sauce. The main gripe I have with carnival is their dinners to me hardly edible. My steak had so much gristle I couldn't chew it. BLT kept giving me burnt hard stale toast. I'll be interested in this review of the food. That's why i booked fewer carnival .. and i can book rcl for less. Carnival has the best fast food, burgers and pizza but i went hungry for dinner in the Mdr. Lots of reviews coming up. Hopefully of the food. I'm a picky eater, though not high class, i just want good food. Not watery cold fruit soup. I also don't eat fat, I cut every bit off .. doing more pay restaurants.

Carnival cc is going crazy right now with live reviews. 2 or 3 got on pride in Barcelona yesterday and today 4 at least are getting on costa ship, renamed to carnival Venezia. Im following intrepid who is a foodie and went thru France by train first. Anyway he just boarded and posted the wifi prices for their cruise. No bargain imo but people over there excited and not thread after thread complaining. From costa ship carnival Venezia.. $30 a day isnt a bargain in my book and buying before not as discounted as rcl.

Ouch on the wifi price. On rcl I get 2 free days of wifi no matter the cruise length as a loyalty perk. I gotta admit I miss free wifi on carnival. $30 a day yikes. Maybe they will switch over to musk's wifi .. cheaper. Lol I'll have some obc in jan but not enough to even pay for wifi. Ouch. One thing carnival doesnt win at. $330 some serious money. I'm noticing people no longer bother to type the myth go try carnival its cheaper. Their prices are getting high too. The difference is their pay restaurants are cheaper. I'm more apt to do a lot more at a lower cost to me. Their steak place just as good imo and can still order surf and turf. Thought they added $2 or something in a round of upping prices on restaurants. At least they did it openly and pre announced. Unless you get casino rates, gone are the $100 a day cruise I used to get. It's not just rcl who upper their price. We just complain more imo than other lines.

That sounds exactly right plus sushi. If I dont eat every tempura it's ok. I am not a member of the clean plate club. On grandeur they let us make requests for the nightly happy hour and someone requested the tempura. Just on that ship I've had it. I dont see how it would be a cost savings for me to do the ala carte. I guess if you just wanted to try one large plate. Plus I like wonton soup. I'd probably have that. And whatever the dessert is. If its booked and not ala carte I'm more apt to show up.

Same as on other ships same class. I've seen one and to me for a kid, not a adult. They arent as big as a roll away, regular single bed for instance. Shorter.

Im following along the food too. I'd like a lot of it but not the octopus. In Hawaii what I've had was too chewy. Not my thing. Love raw tuna fresh, not octopus. He is adventurous. Agree I'm astounded at his pre planning food wise. I wonder if he would like wonderland on rcl. Most men dont seem to like all the small servings .. tastes. One and done.

Yea that's what I meant by fried veggies. I think I've had them in the diamond lounge. I loved tempura red peppers. But shrimp would be good too. Thanks. I hope the dinner is worth it. Soup first course isnt that filling if broth. I keep reading this is a mistake, cancel and do ala carte. I cant decide which sushi with the tempura. I havent done the set price before. Sept is a long time coming.

Discounted packages dont get to choose ahead. If you are in a suite, the concierge might be able to ahead of time or assist you, idk, but all the discounted pkgs .. you dont choose times until you are onboard.

Well I'll try it first leg in sept. If it's a bad deal then I can cancel the other bookings. When so many posts say it's not a good deal, ala carte is a better deal, I should listen probably, but I'll try it once at the fixed price.

D+ drink on me. I have not one single day used 5 vouchers. I might order 3 alcohol drinks a cruise, plus fresh squeezed oj and sometimes coffee at the cafe. A couple days I went pkg wild last cruise the OJ was so delicious and sweet and oranges still in season and had 2 glasses. Last sept it was awful like battery acid. They squeezed some bad oranges. Kinda took away the urge until lately to try it again. I do have some booked to PC, but havent made moving plans specifically. I still have oct 2024 from texas and adventure dec 2024 b2b out of PC, just added 3 adventure and 1 last from Galveston. I'm booked southern april 2025, after bella2 cruise. I should change my signature. My TA moved my dec 2024 from texas to PC, but havent made up my mind yet about 8 day harmony oct 2024 out of texas. Good price but I might be moved by then.

If you are before final payment date I'd call back and talk to another rep and probably get a different answer. You should get price drops before final payment.
