You can cancel it online with the new format.

    1. First find the tour that you want to cancel and click on it.

    2. There is a link that says "See order history>", click on that.

    3. Then in the order history web page, click on "View details" where you will get a drop down box with a "Cancel" option.

I’m with you until I click on “View details” it just shows me what I have paid no other drop down with a “cancel option”.  Only a “Hide details” box.

  2. I booked a tour yesterday for my Feb cruise on the Millennium, which has now changed to the New Format today with a lesser price & a discount.  I wasn’t sure if we were going to keep it but knew that it could be changed.  The new format does not say anything about cancelling a tour, does anyone know how to do this under the new format?

Six couples are sailing together on the Silhouette. Ideally we would like to be at two round  tables served by the same wait staff so that we can mingle interchangeably. I’ve been looking at a deck plan of the dining room under a magnifying glass and do not find this to be a possibility, although not all tables are shown that are covered by the restaurant name on the lower level. The only table for 12 I can see is the former Captains Table.

Has any Celebrity cruiser sailed with this size group, and if so, please offer any advice and suggestions for us, thanks!

Yes & we did get a table for twelve, but if doing it again I would go for 2 tables of 6 which should be no problem.  Have your TA phone Dining Co-ordinater for the ship you are on about 21 days before the cruise & they will arrange it for you.  Then when you get on the ship check with the maître’d to double check that this has been done.  A table of 12 is too large to talk to everyone & we found it slower service.

Ken, each of the 13 provinces and territories operate independently, so I can only talk about my experience in Ontario. When I received my first shot, I was sent an email with a pdf attachment that had all of the relevant information. I wasn't offered a printed copy at the vaccination site, and I don't know what happens for people who have no email account.

I've done some cursory research to see if this information is accessible from the province's COVID vaccination database(s), but I've found nothing as yet. If a fellow Ontarian reading this knows how to access it, please share!

The majority of Canadians who have been vaccinated have received only their first shot. With the 4-month delay between shots, few will be eligible for one of the early start-up cruises. I was one of the first people in the 70+ age group in Ottawa to get my initial shot, but my second isn't scheduled until the end of July. Adding the couple of weeks for it to become effective and we're talking about mid-August. Assuming, of course, that there are no more serious vaccine delivery delays.

We were given a printed copy but it was exactly same information as the PDF file.

We hopefully get our 2nd shot the middle of July but who knows whether or not we will get anything then.

FYI, last Wednesday, April 14, to my email came my DH’s name and Captain’s Club #, the next chance to earn Power Up points - he never received mine or any. We called Captain's Club and were told there must have been some sort of snafu, and told to check our contact information. We immediately checked each of our info, and re-signed up, but aren’t sure until the next chance for Power Up points comes out.  So, if you fellow thread members would, please share whenever the next chance comes out, so any and all of us will be sure to also take advantage of opportunity, we’d all be most appreciative!!!

I never get the correct emails from Celebrity even after 63 cruises, they come to me but the name on them is my DH.  It doesn’t matter how many times we have signed up under our own emails Celebrity never gets it right.  Just be thankful you got it, as half the time I find out on CC.

When this month's points were credited to our accounts, several people (myself included) commented that they received 1 more CC point than expected.  Has anyone figured out why, or how that happened?

You must have received mine & my DH we were supposed to get 2 points each but only got 1 each.  No idea why so enjoy!

    Hi everyone,

We booked a Celebrity cruise for 2022 two days ago, paid our deposit, everything confirmed. We opted for the Indulge Package. I went on to the site today and I see an additional charge of $217 was randomly added to my cruise. I went through everything and found out that gratuities were added to my booking.

First, I thought gratuities were included with the new Always Included pricing structure? Second, does anyone have experience with this happening and how to resolve it?

We have had this problem on a couple of cruises booked but the strange thing is when they take it out it is usually less than to what they have added in, it never seems to be the same amount.  So they still want more money than original invoice.  We have had this happen on 2 cruises & it gets fixed then falls off the rails at a different amount.  I’m sure it will get fixed sooner or later.

when I moved my 4/18 and 5/2 cruises to the agent, there was mass confusion from Celebrity's side and I suggested we get on a 3 way and I could explain that Celebrity made a mistake, originally against me, but in fixing it they went, well, overboard.

I am pretty sure they would have found it anyway, but I am old school and if there is an obvious mistake, fix it. I am sure, cough cough, Celebrity would indeed rush to fix a problem against me.

There is a final solution if you feel things are getting out of hand-cancel the cruise. That can be costly too.

oh no would never do that, once we are on the ship all is good its getting past their website that is the problem. We enjoy cruising too much.  If we meet you in April I will tell you all about it.

When the April 2022  cruises (I think we are on together,) were first offered  (to the general public)  we did the B2b and I wanted the same cabins and specific cabins so I grabbed them & then did the details afterwards.

On Royal I booked just 2 weeks ago  and it was a just offered cruise and I go on line and  just a handful of cabins were listed as available. So I then called the Royal line and I was able to get the 4 cabins I wanted for the family. But the hold was expiring  so I went to the TA I have been using. I cancelled the old  held cruise and the TA secured the same cabins. One day the price went up 100, and then the next day the prices came down 150.  For a minute I thought I was on a trading floor where prices change by the second

Then I started calling TA's to check prices and perks and they showed different cabins open etc.

I was surprised only in that it became apparent RCL shows few cabins to the public on line and different levels of cabins to different TA's and even their on internal staff, which I think Royal would like to phase out.

It did become rather cumbersome and If I had not locked up the cabins I wanted on line I think I would not have gotten them.

The problem with TA's unless they are proactive, is you cannot just go back to the cruise line, you have to go thru Agent.

Celebrity and RCL use the same system designed differently. I like how celebrity shows all the cabins in your selected category, then shows upcharge for "better" cabins.

I agree, I prefer dealing with Celebrity, I just wish their computer system was updated but with a pandemic I realize that will not happen.  We find it's always interesting to see what errors there are on our copies when we receive them from Celebrity, very rarely are they correct, but they always do fix them.    Yes, I believe you are on the same cruise as us in April look forward to meeting you both.

  10. I only check prices on line but I never book that way.  Although we do book with Celebrity as it gives us a lot of flexibility w/o having to wait for a TA to call us.  We changed a booked cruise to another one which of course has the All In but the agent also wanted to add in the gratuities as an extra charge & she said the back office takes it off.  My DH said why bother when it’s included anyway so she didn’t but we have had this go in & out by different amounts many times. I guess my question is how many people notice this happen on a regular basis.

I booked a Bermuda cruise for 2022 on the phone directly w Celebrity. The price included tips, WiFi and Classic beverage for less than the website.
I didn’t understand his description of the “up to 48hr. Cruising cancellation?  As you had to pay in full 90 days prior to sailing.

Probably is a non refundable, is that what you wanted?

  12. I wasn’t looking to book, I was just checking out the pricing with cruises booked & noticed that NRD shows All In & refundable shows no perks.  I have been on many Celebrity cruises & know their website is strange but just wondering if they are upping the ante for NRD to get more bookings!

I went through to the summary page and the rate code was still "Always Included NRD" so I suspect this is just another website problem.   Yet another example why I would never confirm a booking online.   I always just put it on hold, get the Guest Invoice then if all in order call Captains Club to get any questions answered/clarified and place the deposit.

Their website is awful if you put in refundable there is nothing about All in. But I still love their ships.

  14. Has anyone noticed that Celebrity website now has Gratuities as an extra add in?
I was checking the website for a TA & you can now choose to pay your gratuities ahead of time..

Is Celebrity doing away with Aways Included?  Funny thing is prices were even higher than last week,

it didn’t say anything was included other than meals.

  15. One cruise a few years back we were invited to the Captain’s table.  Anyway between main course & dessert a woman comes up starts talking to the woman at the other end of the table, starts drinking her wine then she pulls up a chair & orders dessert from the waiter who didn’t quite know what to do.   The Hotel Director looks to the Captains Club host as he wanted him to do something but he just shrugged, so the Hotel Director asked this women if she’d like to join us. Meanwhile she is already sitting down?  We found out later the Captain’s club Host was moved to another ship after that cruise.  It was certainly very entertaining.

  16. It changes to the new format when you tr6 to go in to the cruise planner for a particular cruise but unfortunately it just keeps asking me to sign in over & over again for my Nov cruise.  I guess I should have read that it only applies to the Apex for now.

  17. I just wish Celebrity would update their ships to show the right configuration.  I just checked the Summit & it still shows the old way.  I found out the hard way about the Constellation when we booked the TA & the cruise before in Italy for 2022 it was very confusing as what we could see on the website did not correspond to what we were being told, price wise.

We just booked an A1 cabin [1106] on the Millennium.  Just wonder people's thoughts on deck 11 cabins.  This will be a Caribbean cruise, visiting the ABC Islands.  Any pictures would be helpful.  Thanks in advance.

    Rollie

We have stayed in cabin 1100, it was fantastic would highly recommend. Sorry I don’t have a photo but I did not want the big.overhang of deck 9.
