Just love following your travels wherever you go. We leave in a couple of days for the Panama Canal but will still follow along.

We have also stayed in cabin #1131 last year & while we loved the cabin we could hear the movie louder than you could on the same deck it was showing on. Yes, it ends around 11pm but the over 90 decibels showed on our Apple Watch many times throughout the day. We did advise Customer Service although not sure they turned it down. It was really annoying.

I have used my Dyson Harirblower on a few cruises, they do not take it but I have noticed that I have to put the fan on low & the heat on medium to make it work great. I used to use the fan on medium as well but found the current on Celebrity was too strong to use both on medium & it would be overheated & cut out. Just an FYI.

I’ll be following along as we board the Summit on Sept 19 for the Panama Canal trip. We were on the Summit in Oct 2022 it was a great trip, hope you enjoy!

We have been in 1131 before & the only thing wrong with it is you could hear the movie above. I would still take it. Happy to hear you’ve been assigned your cabin for the cruise before. Gives me hope.

I called them & they said no worries, it will be assigned soon. I would feel better if I had a cabin but this is a 15n cruise & they have a lot of money from me & I wasn’t about to pay another $2500. just to choose my cabin, so here’s hoping I won’t travel across the country for nothing.

Got to ask did you ever get your cabin assigned? We are on the Summit same date & situation & no assignment yet!

I think you will get the extra points as it not a Move up & you actually already paid for Aqua just not a specific cabin. The only way to know for sure is to ask Celebrity.

I didn’t get it either just fill it in with your # & it will work but for some strange reason you have to verify your address again. Only reason we ordered it is to wear to the Zenith luncheon so we know each others names. We won’t wear it any other time.

You have to put in your address twice for some strange reason to confirm before the submit button works, very strange. We ordered them but will only wear to the Zenith lunch. Easier than remembering peoples names.

I’ve had a lot of computer errors with Celebrity but this has worked for me for years. Anyone I have ever linked with has not had a group rate or through a TA could that be the problem.

If you go into My Celebrity, then click on Manage My Reservation it is right there, Link Reservations. Just fill it in & you can link dining, etc.

Well I’ve tried to listen to this twice & it freezes part way through & both times it stopped in different places. Very frustrating.

On the Cdn site if you put in the ship & date all Canada/New England cruises show up for Sept 2025. I sure if you wait a day or two the cruises will all show up.

Yes, but just checked both sites & it is now gone for Sept.2025. I sure they are just fixing it. At least I certainly hope so but haven’t heard otherwise. The Canada trip is still there for end of Aug to Sept 7.

I agree but very happy we have 2 full days in Quebec City as it is wonderful there.

They are there now, we are booked on the Sept 18, 2025 out of Boston. We now depart Quebec City at 6 pm instead of 3pm after an overnight which is great.

I know that when my DH applied for his renewal there were a couple of countries that we had forgotten about, it was not stamped on our passports but he did have to have an interview with US CPB.

Definitely sympathize with you & feel that you should at the very least should get the extra amenities that the Penthouse gets. Have you talked to the Retreat desk that calls you before a cruise, you never know as they are always in contact with the ship. It says in Celebrity’s rules that once the bid has been accepted you cannot back out so why are they allowed to back out? Rules should be a two way street. Look forward to meeting you both onboard.

Maybe you should get checked out to be sure it’s just a cold.

I’ll tell you our experience. We were supposed to fly from YYZ to Boston directly for a repositioning cruise the next day. Our initial flight was cancelled & were we were advised that our new flight was YYZ-YUL-FLL. We only had a 1 1/2hr between flights but we sat on the tarmac in Toronto for 20 min before we took off. Arrived in Montreal & found out we had to go through CDN security again & then go through US customs & a huge line up was already there. They started calling out flight #’s to get people through CDN security. We had Nexus so US only took a matter of minutes. We rushed to the plane & found out that half the plane were still in line, waiting to get through. Our plane waited about an hour before we took off. There too many things that can go wrong with just an hour. This was last fall. good luck.
