A day late but still funny?

Morning folks, Today will be filled with some last minute errands along with some light packing for our short trip to Pennsylvania to visit family. Tomorrow’s flight doesn’t leave until 9:10 AM so grateful it’s not a 4 AM wake-up. Today’s drink may be tasty but when it comes to whisky I prefer my dram neat with three drops of water. Yesterday we went to our Credit Union to change our accounts to our new Living Trust. Arrived, checked in waited 20 minutes (they were busy) lady came over greeted us and we went to her office. She checks our ID’s and proceeds to work at her computer for ten minutes. Looks up at both of us and says what are your children’s Social Security Numbers? Woops! We’ll go back today and try again.😊 @rafinmd Was happy to hear your electrical power came back on sooner than estimated. We become so dependent on having power. I always laugh when we lose power when I keep going around the house flipping light switches to no avail. Habit! Enough banter. Thanks for the Report and all of your special post. Bruce

Good morning. Stayed up late and slept late. Currently 87 degrees and another sweltering extreme heat index warning is forecasted. Just saw a news flash the popular Rockaway Beach in New York has been closed due to shark activity. A woman was attacked and in critical condition. Seems like shark attacks have been more prevalent in recent years. First thing on agenda is to go get a haircut after coffee and of course catching up on the Daily. Good morning. Let’s prepare for another hot and very humid day. We did get more showers yesterday with an additional two inches of rain. So I have turned off the sprinkler system and saving a few bucks. Hopefully, the tree service work crew will show this morning and will get that project completed so I can get other things checked off on my “to do” list. Good morning again. I was in a mad rush this morning but back after a great church service and sermon that can help with every day issues. Rain gauge showed we received approximately four inches of rain last night and now the heat and humidity is up there. Heat advisory in effect.🥵 Managed to cook a steak during a lite rain period last night and may have to do the same with today’s turkey burger dinner. What a beautiful day in Greenland to experience sailing through the Sund. Would love to do that cruise again. Busy week in store as tree/shrubbery project continues tomorrow, need to contact banks, brokerage etc. on our Living Trust and then leave Thursday for Pittsburgh to visit son and family. Hard to believe grandson Logan turns 13 this week. This morning we took neighbors to airport at 4:30 and we are now cat sitting until Thursday. Enjoyed catching up on all your post.
