Good morning! Little cooler out side this morning at 74 and will top off at 91. Main thing is no rain in forecast. Our granddaughter is still sleeping so we are both enjoying some quiet time. The girls are going to see the new movie Barbie this morning. We’ll be spending an overnight in Singapore so thanks for pics, would love a chili hot dog ( a dream) and definitely support hiring a vet day. Hope we hear some positive reports on baby Murphy and Carol’s Sam today. Thanks to all who make the Daily happen. Bruce

Great news on baby Murphy.🙏 I got the laundry started and as soon as it gets to dryer it will be pool time for grand daughter. Keeping her entertained is pretty much a full time job or should I say we are collecting overtime? I was stationed at Dyess for a couple years in seventies. Was quite involved with local Jaycees and used to volunteer at the West Texas Rehab Telethon which had many celebrities. For great steaks we used to drive to Lowake Steak House.

Good morning. Everyone is up early this morning but nothing planned other then a dip in pool if weather remains stable. Was upset to read yesterday that the Mayor and Council of Amsterdam have voted to close down cruise ships visiting inner city and that the cruise terminal will eventually be closed. Always enjoyed those sail in’s and outs as well as stays in Amsterdam. Main concerns are environmental and a city trying to get surging tourism under control. Another blow for the cruise industry. Currently in eighties and another heat advisory later today. Maybe the predicted thunder storms will cool it off. Thanks for the Reports. Enjoy your weekend. Bruce

Good morning! Late start here. Daughter and youngest granddaughter headed home this morning. The nurse has to work tomorrow. The high maintenance seven year old granddaughter stays until next Saturday. I wish I could absorb some of her energy. The Korean ribs last night were good but my dieting has taken a drastic slowdown. Time to play a game before pool time. Thanks for the Fleet Report and post. Bruce

Good morning. Interesting days but should be renamed getting fatter days. Missed the ribs by one day. They turned out well but 7 year old said they were too spicy. Same exact recipe of the one she loved and requested. It will be another trip to pool and I’ll be back on grill for tonight’s Korean Style Beef ribs Time for coffee Thanks for the Fleet and special reports.

We used this service a couple of years ago when DW was having a knee injury issue. We checked our bags and got our boarding passes then we’re directed to a waiting area where we waited for an hour before our names were called and an usher with wheelchair arrived and led us directly through security and took us to a lounge where we waited until picked up again for cart ride to gate. We recently flew out of Schipol and the process of going through security on our own was timely and efficient.

Good morning. Daughter and family will be arriving early afternoon. Frustrating evening last night as I saw a clothing item on-line that appealed to me and when I purchased it I soon had multiple transactions. So called bank, my card has been cancelled and new card will arrive Friday. First time this has happened in a long time. Fortunately, I caught it in time.🤬 The ribs have been absorbing my homemade dry rub since ten AM yesterday and we will start the cooking process early afternoon. Baby Back ribs so shorter cooking time. Granddaughter has already requested corn on the cob as a side dish. Good morning. Stayed up late and got through five sets of the new Jack Ryan series. Hence, I slept in to 6:45. Need to get some chores done before tomorrow’s visitor’s arrive. Need to apply dry rub to baby back ribs as they want Pop Pops “famous ribs” tomorrow night. I elected cooking them on gas grill versus the charcoal which is easier especially with pop up showers these days. I can tell the difference but I don’t think a seven and three year old can. Their Mother yes. Plus cooking on a grill for four to five hours in 90 degree plus heat is something to be aware of. Monroe’s quote is a bad one.
