Not saying it is a good location or a bad location, but it is advertised as a "bistro" and anyone who has been in France, or Italy, or Spain, should know that in most "bistros" you are basically sitting outside on the street. 😉

Basically, once you buy the package, the wine is yours to do with as you wish. You can order a bottle in the MDR or any other bar and take it with you. You can have a few of bottles of your favourite delivered to any bar of your choice or to your room. If you deliver them to a bar, you can just leave it there and have a glass or two whenever you wish as they will store it for you. You become your own cellar master 😉

It does not get any plainer or easier to understand than Guests may bring Wine and Champagne onboard, however a corkage fee of USD $20.00 (which is subject to change without notice) will be applied to each bottle (max 750 ml in volume or less). You bring the wine, you pay the corkage. Easy peasy...

You can get beer on tap at practically all bars on the Koningsdam AND between the Lido Pool Bar and the Lido entrance there is a machine where you can even pour your own and pay by the ounce.

My wife would not have it any other way 😁

Must have still been Captain Nick Nash, the Commodore of the fleet. We were on with him for 20 days in March and, not only was he invisible, he was also totally silent. Not one announcement over the ship's system for 20 days. And then, on the very last day, disembarkation day, he came on to say we would be docking at a pier other than the originally planned one in Fort Lauderdale. Maybe 15 seconds... Not quite the cruise line's marketing star 🙂
