    You keep trying to fight the system. This is the way cruise lines operate. If you can’t accept it then cruising is probably not your best choice of vacation. and if it was so unfair to tge employees no one would ever work for them. Some waiters and bar staff have twenty years with the company, after all.

    What you are used to is simply not the way Cruises operate. You need to wrap your head around the system. In place on cruise ships or choose a different type of vacation.

    Yes this is correct. if you are on a sailing out of Southampton, the price would have been $95 per day because it is quoted inclusive of gratuity. For other locations gratuity is added on check out and the total is the same. noticed that you have re-opened a thread from 2022. At that time the gratuity charge went from 18% to 20%.

    Michaels club has been renamed and remodeled, and is now the retreat, the private lounge for passengers in the suites. There may be live music in there occasionally, but not on a regular schedule.

    Shows are generally at seven and 9 PM. Live music in ensemble sometimes starts at five, sometimes at 5:15, sometimes 5:30

    There is no charge for the continual breakfast room service delivery which would include coffee and tea.

    Don’t forget to look at the bigger picture. A beverage package would include coffees and teas and bottled water. If you would be wanting a lot of those, the classic package might make sense even if there’s a small up charge for your cider.

    You hope that there is but a moment’s difference between check-in time and boarding time, but there can be all sorts of delays that find you sitting in one of the large waiting rooms in the terminal waiting until you are allowed to move onto the ship.

    I remember when Luminaewas first introduced and the advertising said it would be open for lunch every day. But then it wasn’t and there was quite a kerfuffle over it. So being closed on port days is definitely not something new.

    It isn’t well known, but you can use a credit card the shops. I have done so several times.
