  1. I agree about the first night, but disagree about the last night. I appreciate the effort your husband goes through to follow the dress code.
  2. I believe it is still listed under the elite plus benefits. Something odd going on?
  3. I don’t have a picture, but as with most things, it will be too much for some couples, not enough for some couples, and it might even vary from day to day depending on who is working in the kitchen that day
  4. I think you are confusing questions. The title of your thread asked if evening chic is enforced on the final night. The final night is not ever a chic night. It is always a smart casual night. Both dress codes say no shorts in the dining room or specialty restaurants
  5. That would violate PVSA unless the ship would return to LA.
  6. Why pack them? Follow the dress code and wear them to the dining room. then you can go put them in the suitcase, change into shorts, put the suitcase in the hall in plenty of time, and go to the show. or go to the buffet
  7. Maybe give each child a budget and they can decide what they want, two sodas or a Mocktail, a mocktail or a fancy hot chocolate, as examples. Remind them that the price they see on the menu doesn’t include the gratuity which they will have to allow for in their budget.
  8. Here are some specifics from the FAQ under Guest Conduct Policy
  9. 20 is not necessarily an adult on Celebrity https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/manage-plan#cruise-ticket-contract
  10. What do I think? I think they made the limitations of the products that they were selling clear. There was no trickery involved.
  11. Best in what way? Sweetest? driest? Most tannin? Least tannin? Fruitiest? ????
  12. Here is the Celebrity policy on that. The kids room would have had to be adjacent or directly across the hall
  13. Might have but at the time nobody knew what records he or she had access to
  14. You are doubtless looking at some old information. Priority boarding was advertised as a perk of concierge class. Also a perk of aqua class. And also a perk of Captains Club Elite. All those have been done away with. The only priority boarding left is for suites and zeniths. Now it goes by the arrival time that you designated on your app or on the website when you check in.
  15. That all depends on if you have OBC to offset any on board charges.
  16. You can tell the staff at check-in that you are setting up a cash account, and then, when you get on the ship, go to guest relations and give them your credit card. A number of years ago, some credit cards were compromised by a rogue staff member in Fort Lauderdale. At that point I began waiting until I got on the ship to present my credit card.
  17. Not on Celebrity. Take it to your stateroom, pick up your key, leave tge cases and come back later.
  18. Some ports do have a separate lounge for EMBARKING passengers, specifically those booked in suites. Most passengers will never have seen it. But for captains Club Elite level? No. however, as has been explained there is a departure lounge for Elite and above passengers on DISEMBARKATION day. the instruction sheet given out toward the end of the cruise will tell you where it is. On S class ships, typically Tuscan Grill is used. It’s also listed on the Captains Club paperwork you get in your stateroom
  19. If you wait until 9;30 p.m. security will definitely be involved !!!!!
