I really hope this is not the case, we booked Prima for early January and Vibe is not available online, I will be gutted if we turn up at port early to find none available onboard to purchase.

We have in the past always booked our restaurants as soon as we are onboard, they only release a limited amount of tables pre cruise. See the concierge when you board, they will give you an entertainment list and you can tick what you want them to book, then tell them what speciality restaurants you require, they will make it happen. You cannot reserve The Haven Restaurant at all, its a turn up and wait but we have never had to wait long. Hope you have wonderful cruise, we follow you early January.

Yes I know they escort you to the theatre, the theatre is not a problem anyway as there are Haven reserved areas. Its the smaller venues that are more beneficial.

Hello, We are in the Haven on the escape early January, the best Concierge we have had was David on the Getaway, he would take us via the back doors to all venues, especially Syd Norman, are they willing to do this on the Escape?

The loyalty discounts are only applied onboard for unlimited plans, onboard costs are more than on;ine before your cruise, its a lose lose deal- no actual discount. I am booked on two 7 day cruises in January, on the Escape and Prima, I am Platinum and sill go Sapphire after my first 7 day. To upgrade to unlimited with wifi, you need to telephone NCL, the number is on the account page, I actually did the Upgrade package with streaming at $413pp for both cruises as I also wanted the premium plus alcohol package.

We are booked in Haven on the Escape in January, how long before our cruise will they contact us for requests.

Booked this last month for my Prima Cruise in January and yesterday for my Escape cruise in January. Although I must advise, the agent last month knew what they were doing but the agent I spoke to yesterday had no clue and it took over an hour to successfully book it. The price is $413 with the streaming and you can only book it by phoning which is quite a usance.

Lovely review, we have not been able to book vibe online as says unavailable, we only booked 2 months out - do you know where they sell them on the Prime (it was guest services on "away" ships, if any, on embarkation, we have always been lucky and able to get them on previous "away" cruiseships.

yes it was - hilarious how it got such coverage and NCL should have utilised the publicity but did not - as they made such a big thing of the slides on Prima, they could have approached her for publicity on this.

No we have not upgraded anything yet for the Escape, only our Prima cruise as I am not paying the $1159 for premium plus alcohol - I have always had unlimited wifi with streaming on all our other NCL cruises, and we are Sapphire so plenty of cruises, all on "away classes"

I am on the Escape in January then the following week the Prima. I was able to upgrade on the Prima on an upgrade package showing under my account for $343 -this included, premium drinks, unltd streaming wifi, extra 2 spec dining, and additional $50 shore excursion per port discount. But Escape offers no such upgrade plan, upgrade of the drinks package is £1159 - yes not a typo and I think it's usually around $30pd. No upgrade wifi packages include streaming, which my daughter actually needs, she is a tik tocker with over 30 million hits on one video- a Norwegion one on the slides, actually. Any ideas why this is?

Hi Gary, I have done 2 Haven ships, Bliss and Getaway- after reading your great pages re Haven on the NCL CC boards looking at January- NCL Haven on Escape or considering the NSC YC, as you have done both, could you please provide your views on the differences from the experiences on each Haven/YC, what will we miss?
