Yeah, they took the chairs and sofas out of the Standard Balconies a few years back as a cost cutting measure. Lots of discussion about it on the Princess boards. Looks weird without a chair at least, IMO.

Since it will be taxed already you could ask about a Roth IRA; this is tax free when you take money from it later on but will continue to grow like a pre-tax IRA. Just an idea. Good luck!

I have been pretty busy so not able to post as much as I want to, I know just an excuse. I have been diligently following along daily. I have LOL at the memes and talked to my screen about different things going with people.

Thank you again to the pillars of the Daily and to any other contributions to the Daily; it is an addiction as I believe @aliaschief said....it is also a nice place to come to.

A salute and honor go to all Veterans everywhere; Thank You for your Service and Never forget.

I have family members who have and are serving; my Dad was in the Navy, Uncles in the Army and currently I have a Nephew and his Wife in the Air Force. We are aware of all of the sacrifices people make so the rest of us can be safe.

I did not know Remberance Day in Canada was honored on the same day; thanks for educating me.

All of the tributes here have been moving; I remember in grade school we had to memorize the poem In Flanders Field.

Honoring education day too. We have educators in our family; they have a very difficult job now, much more than before. They are angels.

Putting nurse hat on - What is wrong with our medical community? People should not be treated like some of you have been. They seem to be very casual with people who need help; the ignoring people, changing visits without notice and the ongoing pain struggles? Some of these could be life threatening. Unacceptable....Sheesh!!

Very happy to hear about sweet Baby Murphy - what a strong girl! I am sure her family is happy but exhausted. @cruising sister thank you for the updates on her. Continued prayers for her and your family.

I love Mac & Cheese....especially white cheddar. I usually add veggies to mine to justify in my small brain the cheese and carbs.😊

Wonderful to read about all of the traveling going on, my time will come soon enough. I am also packing for the GANZ cruise in ~52 days, but whose counting? I know others here are too.

And Premier!!!! Back when they had the Disney contract pre-Big Red Boat, we took the StarShip Majestic on their "Abacodabra" route.... I remember there was a husband and wife CD team.

 

Same era we got sucked in by Dolphin and booked on the ol' Dolphin IV..... great times!

Went on a Windjammer cruise many years ago, had a blast!

The Polynesia was a beautiful, 3 masted sailing ship. Can't remember the length. There were 120 passengers so not really small for a sailing ship. Basic sailing, low key cruise and visits to the islands. Sailed out of St. Maarten.

Meant to go again but they went out of business. I think they went bankrupt.

It seems like you really have to dig to find the solo deals. I was about to pay double the price for my Alaska cruise when I just happened to scroll down and see inside guarantee for half the price. That didn't show up in the search results. You had to click on the cruise and inside and scroll down to see it. If I had a PCC that would send me all of those, it would be worth giving up my TA OBC to book with them.

 

But I can't find a website or group where anyone is allowed to name a PCC either. And of course if they could, everyone's would be the best. It's like Seinfeld says nobody tells you "You have to see my doctor, he's the worst." Everyone's PCC is the best. Except me. Mine is the worst.

 

I stopped using a NCL PCC a few years ago. All of the ones I had were awful or I couldn't get a hold of them. I have better luck just calling in. I never really had one call me/email me with sales/deals etc.

If you find a good one, let me know...lol.😉

@Travelicious I worked contract for a few years too. It can be more work than I thought, not everyone or company can be trusted to do the right thing.

I had one company refuse to pay me after I had terminated a contract early, which was my option. There are labor laws so they couldn't do that. It is illegal to not pay someone for work done. I told them I was reporting them.

I was paid immediately. Your person can also be reported to the authorities.

Very happy it worked out for you even though it was tough go.

Thanks for the review, not sure I am convinced Virgin is a cruiseline I would want to sail.  The no soap thing just creeps me out with the ramifications of that. JMHO. 😊
