  1. As long as you touch base with guest services onboard the ship to let know of the situation, they will make sure your bags get delivery correct location. You'll dbe fine. Enjoy your new cabin with soms natural light. Have a great cruise
  2. Thank you! That is indeed what I plan on taking is my normal carry-on that I would take on flights. I am one of those people where I have a system I like to carry my own luggage on go straight to the cabin quickly unpack and then my vacation has finally begun.
  3. Pretty sure I know the answer, but I just wanted to triple check.... Can I carry on my own luggage onto the ship if I'm sailing out of the Southampton cruise port? State side I know it's not a problem at all. The only time I've ever encountered an issue where I physically had to hand my luggage over to be checked in was in Copenhagen, because the scanners were much too small for the luggage.
  4. Login to your princess.com account click on the booking you want to put your documents before. Then click on luggage tag and travel summary. And they'll be a button for your travel summary which will have everything you need and that document.
  5. I was on the Regal end of March, unfortunately the crab shack was not being offered at that time
  6. No perk or vantage of paying in full and advance. Personally I always say never pay an advance in full because you can always adjust in case the price goes down and you can refare and save some money on your sailing.
  7. Unfortunately No longer with the traditional dining but what you can do is usually the first night I go to the main dining room because I usually tend to eat up 5:00 p.m. I always ask to speak to one of the restaurant maitre D's and I request to have the same table and waiters each evening at the same exact time and the same dining room every night. And I have not had a problem doing so. However the later you eat the more difficult that can be as it becomes to be more peak times around 6:30 7:00 when most people like to eat.
  8. Besides doing it on the app you can actually do it on your stateroom TV as well.
  9. Thank you for that information. Most helpful. I feel like I should be fine. I'm just taking the train right outside of Central London.
  10. And if you don't have a medallion they can easily look it up by your name or have a number.
  11. Yep I've already checked the terminals I know we embark on Mayflower but we disembark and QEII
  12. Excellent!!!!! Thank you for the self embark time slot. Much appreciated. 😊
  13. Could not agree any more with you! I hope to do a live thread on the midnight summer and solstice cruise on the Sky leaving in 3 weeks.
  14. At the end of your trip if you don't mind taking a picture and posting the disembark times flyer with the times. I'd appreciate it. Or tomlwt me know what time time it states disembark will be starting would be awesome.
  15. Oh wow. Really,?!?! I would have never guessed that with late arrival times.
  16. I find Princess overall to be extremely relaxing. I don't find it to be hustling and bustling compared to other cruise lines. The vibe on there for myself personally speaking I absolutely love how quiet and relaxing it can be and yet they still have fun shows and activities you could be a part of if you choose to do so which are usually held in lounges and then they've got live music everywhere. It all depends on what kind of vibe you are looking for but for me Princess says the job beautifully. No loud, rowdy, guests. The kids on board always seem to be very well behaved not as many children on board compared to lake carnival on Royal Caribbean.
  17. Well I think I just answered my own question I purchased at 10:00 train just to be on the safe side.
  18. For those who sailed out of Southampton how early do they start disembarkation? And how quick is it to get through customs? I'll have my own luggage with me like I normally do. Debating after eating breakfast in the dining room on disembarkation day If I'm able to make a 9:00 train or if I'm safe for doing a 10:00 but would hate to have to wait around.
  19. Fabulous news! Thank you for telling me how your first hand experience is going. My last cruise on the Discovery out of California that was lines galore I've never seen so backed up for like a 5:00 dining and all my years of cruising especially with Princess.
  20. Thank you for your understanding, as you have been most helpful along with many others.
  21. All very good information to know. Thanks a bunch as always!
