I know the Norwegian Spirit had a dry dock....nothing much from what i read, just some technical details...to those who have sailed on her recently, does she need cosmetic changes as well...

and does anyone know, will she be getting any other dry dock for renovation in the near future....hopefully sometime this year...thanks in advance

Fellow cruisers, what would be the difference between being offered all the amenities of the haven as opposed to those having platinum latitude benefits....at least i know the price for the haven will be significantly higher...but i am debating whether having a platinum benefit is really worth it?

I will be on the gem on 5/20...can't wait!

Although I am not platinum, I believe you are held along with haven passengers and first group to board the ship...so in summary, the vibe pass will be yours to enjoy

Should I expect La Cucina with such romantic atmosphere on other ships as well...the reason i ask is because from a past recollection, not sure which ship, the la cucina was very romantic...

you don't need to make reservations for the complimentary restaurants as you are 99 percent guaranteed to get a table, but the specialty you must before the cruise begins or as soon as you get on board

many reported the orchid garden was your typical take out asian food, nothing special...so why are reservations recommended...any recommendations also for dishes to pick will help as well

I will dare to go out on a limb and say that this has been a bit of a peeve for me...seems like the addition of latitude points should go along with the initial booking...in this way, you can justify paying for the cruise and not simply as a hidden amenity

just wondering as I have a spa pass on the ncl gem, is there a shower in the spa or locker room area...

also do they provide towels or do we have to bring our own?

i know we can bring drinks inside but i was just wondering can we bring in a plate of food in there as well, sorry don't mean to be cheap...thanks

Vitamin_sea...love your screen name....make sure you give your self at least 90 minutes to make any shows...in your case, go to the later showing at 9 pm

As a side question, when does the kitchen open and close on the specialty restaurants and for how long do they continue waiter service...sorry i don't mean to sidetrack the main op post but just worried if there is a conflict with a show, i might have to book in at a later time
