i think even in the rare case of you waiting for MDR, they give you a pager to let you know when they are ready for you.

op here...we booked this cabin as my mom, uncle and aunt as the 3rd and 4rth passenger special offer they had...it's a lot of money to save...for 7 nights, i think i will be fine..just wondering what the set up were...

(but, please don't stop me from dreaming about the upgrade)

i think I would like to make the same request from that of the specialty restaurants...

since i have a lot of time on my hands, essentially a foodie bum..lol..i will add in the future another list of the best dish from each restaurant...

for now, I'll get started and say the escargot and lobster from le bistro, the porterhouse or rib eye from cagneys are stand outs...anybody else...

OP here...wow, did not expect such a great response...and i second the chocolate lava cake if they still have it...i think i will stick with cagney's for steak...

especially on anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions, must let your travel agent know so they can get a small cake for you...just a small gesture but an attempt to make it special afterall.

sometimes I have to say rccl is in many ways better than ncl especially now that they have caught on to your time dining...and honestly, i think the food in their specialty restaurants are better than those offered in ncl...just an opinion

Hi cruisers...leaving on 5/20/17 on gem...i have the sdp but i am debating whether to get another 3 sdp for a total of 6 specialty restaurant or should i just stick with the original 3 sdp and brave the food in the mdr as well....thanks

you are right to be angry...but also wrong to feel that going during spring break time during such a trip of bahamas will attract

serious cruisers...sorry but i don't think ncl is at fault, they are just doing their part by filling the ship.

i thought that we can rid ourselves of the gratuities (dsc) by just visiting the cruise info desk on the last day of the cruise...is this not true anymore...i would hate to lodge a grievance by email which is likely gonna lead to a slim chance of me getting my gratuities removed...thanks

HI Friends...is there enough time to experience the most exciting parts of Kennedy space center like the launch experience and imax movie if the ship docks in port canaveral at 1pm and leaves at 9pm....i read somewhere that booking this excursion through ncl may give you additional time beyond closing time...

I would love to get some input from those who have booked this excursion before....

also any names of local tours or shuttle services from the port to KSC would be appreciated...thanks in advance

RCL has caught my attention. I used to be a big NCL cruiser but RCL has better shows and better entertainment but I still have to be sold over the food. Also, RCL seems more expensive than NCL. But More on that later,

please help me and other fellow NCL bandwagon cruisers to choose RCL
