  1. i hope i don't get banned but i keep reading of another 'social' internet site

that fellow ncl cruisers can go to read up on ncl cruisers...so someone spill the beans...what is this site...by the way...i love cruise critic, they are totally helping the lot of us with all our cruise needs...thanks a million!

  2. hey eagle...love your review so far....i will be sailing ba on 3/6...i like your style, you certainly know to present a great way of getting your review across using spaces in between sentences and passages...great style...

and i hope to see anoop too...i have heard a lot of great things about him....like they say, once you go haven, you never go back.

    B.K.

  3. trust me, I know the feeling when your post is all alone with no response...

well I hope to enlighten you a little to the ncl style of breakfast and lunch..

usually they have a buffet in the am and at noon in the garden café or you can try o'sheehans anytime of the day...but there is also a limited table service I believe on both complimentary restaurants at taste and savor, the two sisters to the big brother manhattan room...most people are satisfied going to the buffet during both times as there is a vast variety you can choose from including made to order omelettes, waffles and for lunch a variety of native cuisine including meats and Italian favorites and international cuisines...hope more can enlighten you on this post...thanks

  4. hey fellow ncl friends,

what is the number for the pre-concierge hotline I keep hearing about and would love to know who the actual conceirge is gonna be for the breakaway leaving march 6th as I am getting a lot of different answers...

is it adrian, anoop, john or ruth

  5. Glad I found this post..I was in the same position as you...thought i could get an adults only vibe pass but i at the last moment got an upsell thankfully to a haven suite...these are the similarities between the haven, the vibe and the spa pass...

haven---usually very expensive..about 2-3 grand or more but if you get an upsell usually 1 grand for two to upgrade..you get your own restaurant, courtyard, bar, pool, two floors to lounge in, a sun deck, your own butler and conceirge to attend to your every need...the common saying is that "once you go haven, you never go back"

vibe--99 dollars per person but very hard to get...you have to be one of the first to board and practically run to guest services to hope it is not sold out...but you do get an adult only separate sun deck, bar, water spritzers,

and fruit skewers..and of course, peace and quiet away from the public

spa---usually more attainable, but expensive about 199 per person,

but a good deal as you get a separate spa lounge indoor area with a warm cleansing pool, heat warmer loungers to chill on, waterfall massage, sauna, steam room and salt room...but no indoor bar, but certainly a great place to chill with floor to ceiling windows...

hope this helps...from a loyal ncl fan to the core.

  6. sure thing..to begin with...the glow party used to be called the White Hot Party where it was customary to wear white...but now, the new trend is the glow party..usually it might be held on the spice h20 section on the modern ships or the spinaker lounge on others...they have a number of neon glow like

'sticks' or such other items for free that they hand out randomly...and with the light turned low or in the night, this neon lit evening out makes for quite a a party when they usually have modern pop or house techno music playing and everyone starts to dance or not...hope this helps

  7. thanks for the insight from the original poster you guys...and in reference to another question posed, no with the new menus now being offered for the complimentary dining the meals i think have improved...however also if you still want a giant lobster, they just might filet it and offer to you as well for an additional a la carte price...but in general, the food on the complimentary dining is good as well...any recent cruisers with insight are most welcome.

  8. Hello fellow ncl friends...i will be sailing in 2 weeks...i am a big foodie so I was wondering what is the best food on NCL...for example, classics like escargot at le bistro or the mouthwatering steaks at cagney, nevermind the truffle fries...so any insight would be appreciated....i plan on eating a ton and of course, 'properly' getting ****faced from the ubp offer..can't wait!

  9. i also leaped on a chance to get an upsell but the amateur me did not know how to go about doing it...so here I am, a thousand dollars poorer booked on what appears to be a relatively tiny haven suite with no chance of getting a refund...i would have preferred a balcony or even a minisuite.

  10. hello fellow ncl family,

although ncl does have some 'nickel and diming' extraneously, I have always had a great time over the past 10 years sailing with ncl. My question is two fold, one, how do I go about getting cocktails while dining under the UBP and number two, maybe I am just stupid, but what the hell is the definition of a la carte if I have the all dining package, do I still pay extra for the main dish, lets say one order of filer mignon....thanks in advance.

  11. hello fellow ncl cruisers..

is the boarding time different from the time they give you to board when you do it online...in my case, the earliest boarding time I got was after 11am but I am wondering if I come early, can I get an earlier boarding pass...I hope this makes sense...thanks in advance
