    I disagree, it is a part of the total cost of the holiday but I'd rather pay at the end of the cruise rather than 3 months before.

    It's not something that cruise companies do regularly but unfortunately Cunard is just one of many cruise lines making changes to their trips in the region. I hope you can salvage something from your trip, did you book any of it via a Travel Agent?
