  1. If you purchased your air through Flights by Celebrity, you should have gotten an email confirmation showing flights and pricing. Also the record locator or confirmation number should also allow you to go to the air carrier's website to see the reservation there.
  2. A necessary evil would be the excruciating waiting time for the volunteers to come forward when you know that your cruise (reservation) could get cancelled.
  3. Well that was one recognizable landmark that is gone! I take it that overall the changes are considered to be a vast improvement.
  4. Well that whole Diamond Princess Covid thing was a pretty big deal.
  5. Here is a summary of the cabin count on Millennium compared to Solstice. The sources for the information are in the hyperlinks in the previous sentence. They are Fact Sheets that are currently posted in Celebrity's trade website.
  6. I sincerely apologize. I saw it, but didn't recognize it as the front page. Thank you.
  7. @DaKahuna, thank you for your posts. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please take a photo of the Celebrity Today front page for today (and when you can, on subsequent days, too)?
  8. I noticed you said "response" and not "answers".
  9. Despite your horrific experience at the Roof Top, I would definitely encourage you to try Lawn Club on your next Solstice class ship sailing.
  10. I noticed that the mighty Queens Wharf Tower disappeared between my two port visits in 2018 and 2020.
  11. I found this active thread to be informative. CC members on the different ships so far (Apex, Millennium, and Constellation) are paying their internet speed tests conducted several times a day. You may want to check it out.
  12. I am guessing that during the long canal transit day, you will find that Celebrity will be rotating several groups to the helipad. They did that during our Solstice cruise when we visited Doubtful, Dusky, and Milford Sound in one day. There were 3 groups invited to the helipad, one group for each sound.
  13. So you mean that normally the bad meals are in short supply.
  14. Obviously Celebrity is saving your helipad invite for something more worthy--like the canal transit.
  15. That sounds great. We flew to Rome last year for our Constellation TA and I finished shopping for airfare for our Southeast Asia sailing. Flying to Asia (especially Hong Kong) is ridiculously expensive while our airfare to Rome was cheap.
  16. In general the closer to sailing time the bad news is delivered, the greater the compensation. Still, your deal was pretty good.
  17. I have the same problem with my upcoming Solstice sailing (December) and Summit (Apr 2024). I even called Celebrity today to try to book it over the phone. The phone rep couldn't do it and after putting me on hold to find out more information, he told me that it was because my reservation wasn't paid in full. I thanked him and chuckled to myself as I hung up.
  18. I see. I think both versions are pretty disheartening.
  19. On Tuesday, Miaminice posted a similar looking letter with post May 1 language.
  20. Thanks for posting. Why is the first Evening Chic night not on Sat Apr 22 or is this a misprint?
