Princess has a max on the total amount of onboard credit that can be on a stateroom account.
from the website.
Onboard Credits cannot exceed $1,500 per booking

Truly quiet places onboard can be hard to find. Never understood the need for canned background music even at low volume in venues during the day when they do not have activities going or even a bar open. But that's just me. On ships with Skywalkers it seems a contradiction that the nightclub is the quiet place during the day.

If you are applying for shareholder OBC, then $250 for one 14 day rather than $200 ($100 each) for two 7 day.

Just off a b2b on the Caribbean out of FLL. The first week to the west had loads of kids everywhere. The second east leg hardly any. I could not figure out why. Others mentioned the MLK holiday was during the first week. I never thought that was a school break. But what do I know. Anymore schools seem to take different break times.

I feel like, now that I know I'm getting the right color medallion. Thats the most important thing.
Not to worry. We received our black medallions today for our cruise next week. even though the app says that we are first timers.

Not a huge deal, but we have done 31 cruises with Princess and somehow we apparently are now first timers "new to Princess" on the new app? 🙄 Not sure it is worth the effort of a chat session to try and fix it before our cruise next week or wait until onboard and see if it changes.

Ours is on an identical track! Fingers crossed we have them by the 11th when we travel to FLL for 1/13 voyage!
Same here, it's weird to me but it must be somehow cheaper for them to crisscross the whole country before arrival at the destination. Going right by on the way to CA and back 🤔.

Cannot see the other cruises in the new App. Any ideas how to get them to come up?
Sign in with the booking number for the cruise you want to see. I hope this gets fixed soon so we can see and select from a list like the old app with out the log out and back in hassle.

Well progress has been made. We are at least now both green lane under the new app as well as the old one for our sailing in a couple of weeks. I do think the format of the new app will be more user friendly for onboard usage. Looking forward to real world testing that soon. 😃

Downloaded and "my voyages" only seems to show the next upcoming cruise. Do I need to log in again with each booking number? In the old old one I can switch between bookings.

I'm interested to know this as well. First time sailing Princess since they've had the Medallions, all of my check-in info has a green tick and I have selected the free lanyards for our Medallions. However, the Medallion section still has the orange exclamation next to it. But when I go into it, it shows the order for the lanyards. Now I'm thinking it's simply because the Medallion won't be sent to me beforehand?
That is likely correct.

Just got scammed for the $460 I charged on AARP for a Princess gift card. The card has a zero balance. I called AARP and they said call the merchant , Princess and see what happened. I called Princess and they said call who I bought it from because the numbers for the gift card don't exisit. Of course I put a dispute in with my visa and we'll see how it's handled.
The rewards came through in an email and the gift card had a number and a pin but said zero balance.
Had the same issue on with one our last batch. It took a couple weeks of dealing with it but AARP finally got it loaded correctly and applied it to our cruise.

I'm within the time frame and cruise has been paid for in full. I've been getting the message for 6 days now. So frustrating.
Same here. Just checked again 79 days out and eligibility supposed to start at 85 days out.

Yes, you can once OB, go to Gs. Make sure to print out each card, showing the card no and pin.
They like to keep the paper copy. I always keep a digital copy as well until it it actually shows and is used on the account, just in case, but never had an issue. Just fyi

I *generally* really like meatloaf...but I really DON'T like Princess meatloaf! IMO it just didn't taste right.
Meatloaf himself sang it for you "I can't do that". 🤪

We haven't sail Princess in many years and are booked for 2025. When bidding, is it for a particular room or just a category upgrade? Real question is do you know the room number you are bidding on?
Nope, could be any cabin in the category you bid on.

Is anyone else receiving onboard summary charges from Princess for cruises taken months ago? They just sent me a summary for a cruise I took on Royal in September. And I'm fairly certain I received that on day of disembarkation.
Same here. Just got a repeat summary from our Sapphire cruise almost 6 weeks ago. Nothing has changed.

If I have more OBC (military, stock, FCC and promotional credit) than my wife and she uses all of her OBC will her additional charges come off my OBC at the end of the cruise ? I am referring to on board spending, not pre-cruise tour reservations.
As long as she is listed as on the same combined onboard account. They track each persons spending as you go and then show the combined total credit or debt. Check your account onboard either electronically or print a paper copy at the kiosk near guest services to be sure.

As long as you're happy parting with your hard earned dollars Princess will be happy to accommodate you.
We find that there's still enough free things available on Princess to satisfy our style, not feeling denied if we don't spring for the once included casual dining, specialty restaurants or overpriced drinks.
Me either, but I do now spring for plus even though I don't make full use of it. The point is being able to splurge a bit and enjoy using what you saved for all your life. Spending habits at home and on cruise are two different things. I'm there to experience things I don't do at home. It is hard to change habits from a saver to a spender, but either in the extreme is not good IMHO.

That doesn’t only apply to new cruisers. We have over 60 cruises with Princess alone and think the premier package is well worth it for how we wish to cruise, especially on ships that have a few casual dining spots. It actually saves us money when we get the wines we like, eat where and when we like, get photos, are able to try our luck with Princess prizes, etc.The addition of casual dining really tipped the scales for us in deciding between plus and premier.
Going on a cruise in the past and not worrying about every penny was tough for me. The older I get, the more the "can't take it with you" mentality is starting to sink in, but not too hard. I still like to find the deals. Everything in balance.
