  1. I'm enjoying your review and pics very much. Thank you. We did the 11 night rd. trip Barcelona yrs. ago on the Epic.
  2. I was recently in a studio cabin on Prima and used it only for morning coffee. It has 3 sizeable rooms which I seldom saw anyone using and drink machines were often not working and nothing was available on day 7. I expect you know that studio cabins/lounge require key card access.
  3. Thank you VERY much for the highly detailed review ! I'm sailing Feb. 2 and will use some of your insight.
  4. Thanks very much for the wonderful video ! We board Feb. 2 and I love learning as much as I can about the ship
  5. THANK YOU, Alexirina !! What a great Xmas gift (Prima dailies) I'm sailing in Feb. and am very glad you have enabled my obsession with research, as it's my 1st time on Prima and 1st time in Galveston.
  6. I'm sailing in Feb. 1st time in a studio cabin. What drinks/snacks are available in the studio lounge ? Are they 24/7 ? NCL site photos show drink machines. I know the cabins do not have fridges, but do they have hair dryers ? Would getting a coffee maker in the cabin be possible ? Thanks very much for any info.
  7. Thanks very much for the continuing saga w/pics ! I'll be boarding in Feb. and am looking forward to all the food choices. Have you noticed any smoking areas? (casino?) I've read that the Prima is not smoker-friendly. I got scolded on another ship for having a cig in the cigar lounge.
  8. We walked off the Escape on 9/24 at about 10 am with bags planning to take a taxi to LGA, but an NCL rep was in the terminal selling bus trans to LGA for $25. PP so we did that. Had to wait a bit, but had plenty of time and bus was only half full.
  9. Last week Escape tendering to Bar Harbor was very frustrating as we waited in the theater forward. They finally marched our group all the way aft, but the boat was full, so they wanted us to go back to the theater, but a few of us stayed aft and waited for the next one. We had allowed 1 hr. to get ashore, but still missed our 10 am tour. Luckily the Co. (not NCL) understood and refunded .
  10. A BIG thank you to Steelers and mking for the info and photos, as we'll be boarding next Sunday.
  11. Thanks again for the replies. I've arranged for our pre-cruise hotel to store our bags for a few hrs. after we disembark, so "Never mind" as per Emiliy Latella
  12. Thank you, folks ! I'll do some more exploring.
  13. Thank you for the quick reply. Assuming you are correct, I thought Grand Central and/or Port Auth. had lockers for rent, but their web sites say no. Looks like we may have to cancel the tour and go straight to LGA. Any suggestions ?
  14. Could anyone please tell me if it is possible for us to have luggage sent to LGA when we disembark while we take a non-NCL tour ? Seems like we have done this in the past, but not in NY. Our flight is at 530 pm. Thank you.
  15. Thanks very much for the extensive review. We'll be on her in Sep.
  16. Yes, due to arrive at GSC Mon. at 7 am
  17. I am unable to update once she sails, but she's still docked at 8 pm.
  18. I just heard from family on board that the Escape has an azipod problem and may be sailing about 830 pm instead of 530 today. Divers are in the water.
  19. Thank you, Bird. I assume NCL will be able to take my photo at the pier if I am unable to do it from home ?
  20. Thanks very much, Bird ! I always appreciate and trust your posts.
