  1. This is the SS Keewatin a former steamship of the Canadian Pacific Railway cruising the Great Lakes. She was born in Scotland July 1907 at the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company in Govan Glasgow. She is leaving Port McNicoll Ontario for Kingston Ontario after getting some much needed work done at a ship yard in Hamilton.
  2. You should find it on your bed tonight. Navybikermom, I'm surprised you didn't get one for the Panama!
  3. They are all good, never had a bad beer in any of them.
  4. Thanks. The itinerary just says tender South Queensbury. This cruise is not until Aug 2024 on the Rotterdam.
  5. Is the Royal Yacht Britannia tied up within walking distance to were we tender at?
  6. Happy 150th Anniversary Holland America Lines, we've been cruising with you for 43 years, hopefully a few more.
  7. I've had this problem when trying to book shore excursions and called HAL and we booked it over the phone, if there are any spaces left, good luck.
  8. Must have had some strong wind, waves & current. Hope they fix it soon.
  9. We loved our Amazon cruise, we did it on the Maasdam a smaller ship now sold. Lots of interesting things to see. Spend time on deck. Manaus is an interesting city, make sure you do an excursion to see what a rubber plantation worked.
  10. Volendam arriving. Don't know who but somebody gave a nice long toot, that will wake up every one up.
  11. Here she is about 5 miles out. What does the Port look like? Have been watching the news and Ft Lauderdale looks like it's under water.
  12. Thanks for posting your write up. We're looking forward to our cruise on her next Aug.
  13. I guess we had to be up very early to catch sail in.
  14. NA arriving. The start of the summer European cruises. We'll pick her up in Copenhagen in July.
  15. Sounds like a good deal. But a little rich for my blood, when I win the Lotto I'll consider it for sure.
  16. It never hurts to ask all they can say is no. We were once offered OBC or a cabin upgrade, we took the cabin upgrade & went from an inside cabin to a balcony.
