  1. Did you look at the pinned topics above? It’s #4. EM
  2. You will get more views if you post on the HAL board here. EM
  3. I think you are leaving from Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale), not Port Canaveral? Don’t believe X sails from Port Canaveral…. EM
  4. @richwmni would like to add my plea for the links to the tour arrangements. If you could post them over on the Panama Canal board under Ports of Call. With the increasing numbers of overnight stops in Panama City, or cruises starting or ending there, a lot of people are asking about tours and there just is not much out there.
  5. What does this have to do with HAL?
  6. Yes, it will be about 3-4”, same as all cabins that are not HC. EM
  7. There are also fast ferries that call there. Google fast ferry to Santorini. Five hours. EM
  8. I think you should visit the ports of call boards here, for Mexico and see if you can find out what types of vehicles they use for those tours. Also Google for tours there to see what comes up, maybe with pictures. And Google accessible tours to xxxx. EM
  9. That must have been when there apparently was a bad storm…this is Amanda (Phoenix-Reisen) in Miraflores today…about 3:15pm. EM
  10. Well, as long as we’re moving things, how about an area in Ports of Call for Central America? Ports in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama end up in the Panama Canal board because they are ports on full transits, and have no other home. And Costa Rica is listed under Caribbean, when two of the ports are on the western/pacific side of the country. EM
  11. There is a board here for these questions, called Florida departures. Found under North American Homeports. Frequently asked. EM
  12. Ahhh…you are doing a fly/cruise, presumably from the UK? I think that your checkin and immigration may be done on the plane, so the best place to ask this question would be on the board here for the cruise line you are sailing. People there will have experience with these cruises. EM
  13. Sunday we had another sister act. Volendam and Zuiderdam doing full westbound transits, we’re side by side at Pedro Miguel and Miraflores locks:
  14. I occasionally see ships from other lines in the canal together...its not usual to have them side by side, as most often the lanes are going opposite directions, plus the procedure seems to be to have an empty lock between ships. I did have a couple of days in Nov. when there were sisters at Gatun together. I posted it in the Panama Canal board under Ports of Call: Oosterdam and Eurodam
  15. You are welcome. I capture from the canal cams for another forum that is canal focused. It is no trouble to repost on live from threads. It’s a view that the guest on the ship will not see. When I did a full transit on Oosterdam in 2009, they put ashore a photography crew that took lots of great pics. Don’t know if they still do that. EM
  16. You should be asking this on the board here for Celebrity. However, I can tell you that Blu does not serve lunch any day, only breakfast and dinner. EM
  17. Why don’t you ask on the Ports of Call board here that covers Greece? I e been to Santorini and Mykonos several times, and I like to just wander in the iconic Greek atmosphere. But the best cruise in Greece was part of a land trip and included a four day cruise on a line that was called Louis Lines, now Celestyal Cruises. They have much smaller, older ships, cabins are basic, but the service and food were terrific. In four days we visited six islands. From Piraeus to Mykonos, Patmos, Samos ( substituted for Kusadasi because of security issues), Rhodes, Crete, Santorini. They run 3,4, and 7 day cruises and you can board at any of the ports. EM
  18. Doesn’t happen often. Just wish they had online bridge cams. EM
