  1. Thank you @dfish Debbie for those recipes. I do it a bit differently but will try one of those versions. Not today, but maybe tomorrow. Luckily, I have a wonderful butcher that pounds the chicken breasts into cutlets for me. So they are all ready to go. Hope your back gets better once you get in the pool. Terri
  2. No one cares about eloquence here. You have said it perfectly. Thank you. Terri
  3. Good morning. Thank you to Rich and Roy for the lists. I hope everyone is doing well today. I like the collection of days. Amnesty international is a great organization. I like jazz and have been know to consume a hamburger now and then. i especially like the meal. Chicken Francese is a favorite and i like to make it. I will be interested in seeing the recipes that @dfish Debbie comes up with. It may give a new flair to a tried and true receipt that I have. This is the second day in a row that I am feeling good. I am almost afraid to say it for fear I will be jinxed. I am moving around with no pain. It makes no sense, but I’ll take it. As for yesterday, I hope everyone is in a better place today. As for me, I am happy to read all the posts. Some days i don’t get to all of them, but that’s my fault. I really don’t care how many photos people post, I love seeing them. I also don’t care how many times people post, if that is what makes them happy. As i said yesterday, this is my happy place. My soft place to fall and I know you will all be there to pick me up when I do. Have a great day everyone. Happy Memorial Day Weekend and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to keep our land free. God Bless every one of you. Terri
  4. Gee, i am all ready to post. It is after 10 pm at night and after reading all these posts, I just don’t know what to write. I am so sorry so many people are having issues with other people’s posts. For me this is a happy positive place. I cry with you and I rejoice with you. So many of us have been through so much in the past two years and I was so happy to find a place where we all feel comfortable to share how we feel on any particular day, whether it be good or bad. i pray for each and every one of you every day. i have been so grateful for your prayers for me and my husband through our time of loss of his brother and also through our ordeal with Covid on our last cruise. You people kept me going. i was about to post about the last two days. For some reason, yesterday was a horrible day. I was barely able to move, let alone walk. i had no idea why. i was in tears most of the day. I needed help with everything. Even getting dressed. Just before getting ready for bed I realized I had not taken my medication. i decided to take it, as late as it was. i had the best nights sleep I had in ages. i woke up this morning like a different person. I took my medication, and I was able to do whatever I wanted. i can’t figure it out. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. i am grateful for each and every one of you. You cry with me and laugh with me. You are my positive place every single day. Please do not let this fall apart. We are all important to each other. And I will leave you with that. God Bless each and every one of you. Terri
  5. Jacqui, We had some of the sort you speak of, and then we have had awesome ones on Oceania. I have to say that on our last cruise when both DH and I contracted COVID, our butler was beyond helpful. While he was not allowed to come in our cabin, he was there for us in many ways to do things for us that we were not allowed to do things for ourselves. We have had some that anticipated our needs, and had one where I had to anticipate his needs(LOL). Anyway, I book the room for the size, not the butler. Terri
  6. Good Afternoon Dailyites. Hope everyone is having a good day. Thank you Rich and Roy for the lists., Appreciate the prayers for my continued problems. @kazuI hope your FP comes through and straightens out your financial situation. @StLouisCruisershave a wonderful cruise. Sorry about the cancelled port. @grapau27I hope you get some relief from your knee pain. take it from one who knows, steroid injections in the knee are really effective. @rafinmdenjoy the second part of your cruise. if you have the opportunity, could you send me an email? I have a question to ask you. Thanks. Admire Sally Ride. She was quite a woman. Not a fan of Dracula and was never a redhead. I like the quote and the wine. Will pass on the meal and have never been to the port. Prayers for everyone who needs them and cheers to those celebrating and cruising. God Bless, Terri
  7. Well, I don’t know why I am so late to the game tonight. i have been trying to get some things done around the house that I have been putting off,. I appreciate the prayers for Jim’s surgery. Looks like the Doc got all the cancerous lesion and he is good to go. I am finding that as soon as I o something I get very tired. So I do as much as I can and stop. Guess, this Covid really took a hold on me. Now that I know the Jim is okay, I am going to make an appointment to see my PCP at the Mayo Clinic and see where we go from there. It is time anyway to get another blood test. Also my both hands are giving me trouble again so it is time to see the hand surgeon to have another round of Carpal Tunnel surgery. So tomorrow I will start getting those appointments set up. As for the days, there are many missing children in this country. And Now we also have 19 more not only missing, but deceased. In my working days, I brown bagged it almost every day. And I always loved the towel animals on the cruises. Never been to Oslo. I’ll pass on the meal. Cauliflower is not one of my favorites. But the wine sounds nice. Thank you Rich and Roy for the lists. Prayers to all who need them. Especially to those who have lost their precious children in the senseless shooting in Uvalde, Texas. God bless, Terri
  8. Good evening, It was a busy day. Jim’s surgery went well and it appears that the Doc got all of the cancerous lesion. I am the nurse who will change the dressing. Also had the house power washed today. Our community requires that we have this done every spring to get rid of the pollen that accumulates. It has to be done by May 31 or we get fined. Well, it got done along with the patio and furniture, driveway, etc. and we are $400 poorer. When I finally got to sit down and turn on the TV, I saw the horrific news of the shooting in Texas. When is this going to stop? Did the best I could with dinner today. I didn’t eat all of it, but most of it. I am very tired. Still trying to cope. As for the days. i never had a tiara, Had escargots on a cruise. Take it or leave it. And a half-brother who hasn’t been in touch for quite a while. Oh well. Finally a port i have been to. I like Grenada. Especially Grand Anse beach. Nice calm water. Hope to get there on our Christmas cruise. If we actually get there. Thank you all for your prayers for Jim’s surgery and for my continuing health problems. i am doing the best i can. Taking each day as it comes. Some better than others. Prayers for everyone. Especially those parents who have lost children today in Uvalde, Texas. God Bless, Terri
