  1. https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/travel-requirements-by-country#bahamas
  2. I read the official Bahama website and see no Aug.1st update. Could Carnival be wrong or does the Bahama website need to be updated?? I have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, do I need to take a RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Test to travel to The Bahamas? Effective 19 June 2022, fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to submit to pre-travel COVID-19 testing to enter the country. Instead, valid proof of vaccination must be presented before boarding a flight to The Bahamas. COVID-19 testing is no longer required for persons travelling inter-island (domestic) within The Bahamas, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status (unvaccinated or fully vaccinated) according to the website- unvaccinated do need the test though. confused.................
  3. As already stated-not as of 6/19/22 https://www.bahamas.com/travelupdates
  4. Yes. I found the same information and find it hard to understand that testing is being reinstated from June with no mention on the official Bahama website to date???🤔 Totally confused now.🥴
  5. I sure do hope so. Even for longer sailings would be even better. I'm already looking at MSC 5 day sailings.
  6. It's a start and I'll take it!! 🙌
  7. hmmm.............just sayin'-did someone say that someone probably had it before they boarded........ 🤔 :flee: 😜
  8. Bird travels-I respectfully agree to disagree.
  9. I'll say it again- Please stop the testing. Besides the drama trying to get a flight anywhere, and I have to worry about testing. Keep the vaccine requirement and lets start to move on. Now many are recommending you fly in 2 days before because of massive cancellations. Adding to the expense and contact with lord knows who, please. Sooner or later we have to begin to move on. My opinion of course. Not cruising until testing is lifted. Please NCL-I have a pile of 'cruises I want to book. Staying on topic-I did hear something about free testing going away on the news a bit back. Not sure I'm %100 on that??? Should of paid more attention that day.🤔 Just something I'll throw out there.....day before I board I have dinner in some restaurant and the person serving me, seated next to me, seating me, chef, bartender....pick one.... has covid. I will be bringing it with me on the ship. Glad I'm tested or glad I'm vaxxed???? Glad you're tested or vaxxed??? So many ways to look at this testing thing.
  10. THIS!! Like I've said on a previous thread, I'm vaxed and boosted and feel safer around people that are vaccinated, not those tested. Again, just my personal comfort level. To repeat myself-the level of planning and money spent and the risk of feeling fine but testing positive is a risk I am not willing to stress over 2 days before my anticipated vacation. Hopefully I'll cruise again and testing is lifted.
  11. Hi Oxo For me it's just too much of a situation that would have me worried from the day I book until 2 days before. That's no way to look forward to a vacation and spend so much money. Planning hotels, airfare, transportation, excursions and just all the other stuff that goes with the months prior. Making sure we can be away from our business also takes planning. All that used to be fun and part of the whole vacation aspect. We're not retired so this is a one, maybe if lucky, twice a year relaxation mode. The risk of feeling fine but testing positive and having all those plans go up in smoke is just not a risk I am willing to take or fret over. My personal feelings are, I feel safer around vaccinated people then I do tested people. Again-personal feelings.
  12. One can only hope soon: https://www.cruisehive.com/the-cdc-is-reevaluating-testing-for-cruise-ships/74496
  13. Following. Like I said on the other thread-fully vaxed and boosted and testing is what's keeping me from cruising. Ready to start spending my money once it is lifted!!
  14. Thank you for this. I can only hope testing will no longer be necessary soon. I am vaxed and boosted and testing is what is keeping me from cruising! Following this thread for sure!!
