  1. That wasn't the question asked. See @gumshoe958's response which actually answers OP's question.
  2. During my final contract with Royal, on Oasis of the Seas, the ship was down an engine the entire 6 months I was there. This limits top speed and I suspect there could be something similar going on here. There is no easy fix for this. It's a drydock and cutting a hole in the side of the ship to swap an engine. Ships sailing to the Caribbean from Bayonne have to get up to 22-23 knots down the coast to make that first port on time, and likewise getting back. This is only achieved with all engines running at full speed and it even limits their ability to use the stabilizers. A bit of a risk with this home port unfortunately.
  3. I thought the reciprocal status happened only on the date you sign up for the other program. If I have been in both loyalty programs for 10 years but took 2 cruises on Celebrity and 12 on Royal (assuming all equal value cruises under the loyalty programs) in those years, you're saying I would still have even status with Celebrity?
  4. Dynamic pricing. Whatever brings in the most money wins. They are probably out of JS on this sailing but if people are still spending enough on Junior Suites, they are happy to bump someone out of a Junior Suite to a higher category, most likely making even more $ with a Royal Up.
  5. Far more vibration on deck 6 aft than deck 2 mid. The vibration mostly comes from the thrusters, which are nowhere near mid ship.
  6. Yes. As are the ice rink chillers if I recall correctly.
  7. Deck 2 aft: mooring deck, crew cabins, crew internet cafe, crew mess. Deck 1 and deck 0 aft: mostly provisions (food and beverage storage). Slightly forward of that on deck 1 is the incinerator room and some Marine department offices. Anything else you want to know? I wish I had kept copies of the full deck plans. The ones that show all the stuff that is omitted from the ones posted publicly. They were pretty neat to look at.
  8. I don't recall Voyager ever having a Sorrento's. It would have had to have been added and removed between 2012 and 2019, which would make no sense. Pizza was always at cafe prom.
  9. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=symphony+of+the+seas+unlimited+dining+package
  10. Looks like Oasis class up to Symphony have it and Wonder does not. I'd imagine it has to do with deck 17 being completely reconfigured in the design for Wonder.
  11. True, but deck 13 forward you are like 10 feet in front of the horn. This is vastly different from being elsewhere on outer decks, behind the horn, much further away.
  12. If not witnessed going overboard, unfortunately 99% of the time a search is a lost cause. Even worse odds at night. Learned this in my emergency training. So if I heard that OSCAR PA announcement now, I would know they were likely already too late. Awful feeling.
  13. This isn't accurate. All of the soda guns, ice machines, Vitality dispensers, drinking fountains, etc. are fed by water filters installed nearby. It's close, but it's not the same.
  14. I thought Hyperlink was a recent launch. Like late 2022/early 2023. That would explain not seeing the activities last year.
