  1. I guess I’ll wait a bit longer. Thanks all.
  2. I applied for shareholder OBC about 10 days ago for a cruise I have booked in December and haven’t heard back from HAL. I faxed it in and asked for an email confirmation. In the past, it has been confirmed in 1-2 days at the most. Just wondering if anyone else who applied recently is still waiting for confirmation? I am wondering if I should reapply or just keep waiting. Thanks.
  3. That's a great idea. Thanks.
  4. For Your Time Dining, I’m wondering if you can just show up at the MDR when you are ready to eat or do you have to make a reservation first in the Hub app?
  5. I would like to know this, also.
  6. Just curious as to what happened to the person who wrote the original post in this thread. They haven’t been heard from since. 🤷‍♀️
  7. I will do that. Thanks.
  8. I haven’t cruised with Carnival for awhile. Do they still give you a paper Fun Times every day or is everything through the app now?
  9. From John Heald’s Facebook page: NEWS ON TESTING. Carnival Cruise Line is pleased to announce that we are adjusting certain protocols to reflect the lifting of CDC requirements for the US cruise industry. We remain, as always, committed to the health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we serve. These changes will be made in phases, with the first of these updates effective on Thursday, August 4, 2022 and focused on short cruise itineraries of 5 nights or less. More changes will be announced shortly and all changes are subject to any requirements of destinations on the itinerary. Effective for embarkations on or after Thursday, August 4 • No pre-cruise testing for fully vaccinated guests booked on cruises with itineraries 5 nights or less. • Pre-cruise testing for itineraries 6 nights or longer can be conducted up to three (3) days before departure. • There will be no in-terminal testing for unvaccinated guests (with exemption approval) on day of departure, but all unvaccinated guests, age 2 and older, must provide proof of a negative result of a lab-administered or supervised self-administered antigen COVID test taken within three (3) days before embarkation. Thank you all for helping get us to where we are now and your loyalty and your desire to cruise and have FUN is extraordinary. Cheers and PLEASE SHARE WITH AT LEAST ONE PERSON Come on, HAL. It s your turn.
  10. I guess it’s too much to expect it by my cruise on August 13. LOL
  11. We are also on the August 13 sailing. We got a room on deck 8 a couple of weeks ago when we booked it last minute. We usually sail HAL. It's been a while since we were on Carnival, too. Edited to add: I just realized you were the one who asked if I had been on the Koningsdam. I also recognize your CC name. 🙂
  12. Does the back pool have any shade?
