  1. We were there on Summit last week. We liked it, the pool was great. It was only $40 a person. There were four local young ladies there that wore very revealing swimsuits but that did not bother me.

I was told by the excursion desk that there would only be passengers from the Summit.

I think that you can only book it once onboard. When we were there, Summit officers and the CD were there checking out the facility.

  2. Regent Seven Seas is truly a step up. We love Celebrity but when a cruise is really complicated like Bali to Bangkok or Santiago to Buenos Aires, we love Regent.

Everything is included, business class airfare, excursions, gratuity, specialty restaurants, drinks, transfers and pre or post cruise three day stays.

Smaller ships but with all the amenities including entertainment and casino. No formal nights.

We have been on two Regent cruises and have two more booked.

We also have two Celebrity Caribbean cruises booked.

  3. We are looking at a cruise to Asia on the Navigator. We have only been on Voyager and will be on Explorer. How is the ship? We usually book Penthouse C. I see that they are only on one deck. Anything that the experts can tell me about this ship. Thank you.

What a great idea! And yes, a few of us wondered, but I thought this might be the case. I’ll keep an eye out for the answer. A personal set of cuff links would be very special. I usually add money so they can use it for family and so on, but this is a great idea! I started thinking that since I only wear French cuff shirts rarely now that Tux are minimized, I thought Id bring a nice set as a gift, but your idea is so much better.

Just remember that they are women butlers also.

  5. We did our first Regent cruise from Auckland to Bali two years ago and it was wonderful. Business class airfare, three day pre-cruise in Auckland all included, as well as tips, drinks, speciality restaurants, and excursions.  There was a theater with entertainment every night as well as lectures.

We are going to South America and Antarctica in January.

We also are doing CelebrityBeyond next year.

    Try Regent. It is outstanding.

Would like to know how the food on Regent compares with Celebrity's Luminae.

The food is fantastic. Speciality restaurants are included in the fare, but the main dining room, Compass Rose is so good I did not need to go to the French restaurant or other specialities.
Luminae is good and we still we occasionally cruise in a suite on Celebrity.

But it is so nice to have business air fare, excursions, gratuities, drinks and now laundry all included.

  7. We did our first Regent cruise last January from Auckland to Bali. We have done about 10 Celebrity cruises in suites. We loved Regent and have three more booked. One next January in a Penthouse suite on Voyager from Santiago Chile to Buenos Aires with a three day included pre cruise in Santiago. We also love the suite class on Celebrity but in these COVID times, it is nice to be on a ship with 700 people.
