  1. Have your teens do a Youtube ship walk through of you possible choices.
  2. Tables and numbers can change from one cruise to the next. 444 could be nowhere near 446.
  3. I go with the ribeye and convince my wife to get the larger filet so that she can share with me. We both get the Yorkshire Pork Belly appetizer, wedge salad and sides. This is from the old days, double pour wine and triple pour gin and tonic from D lounge.
  4. Mine was fantastic, as was the Berkshire pork belly.
  5. Wife had both of ours on her phone, they asked to see the original.
  6. The door is 30 or 40 feet from the track. Check around 4:20
  7. You may be a little optimistic on your answer to # 2. I saw a report on YouTube from a survey a week ago and the world wide cruise industry is around 40,000 members short. That includes crew, entertainment, corporate, terminal staff and shipyard maintenance. Most empty slots are expected to be filled by late summer.
  8. There has never been a fee to bring wine or soda onboard. There could be a corkage fee if you bring the bottle into the MDR, but I have never heard of it happing to anyone. Corkage fee
  9. Yes the tip was added because it was a drink that was charged. Voucher drinks are not charged so there is no place to add a tip. Waiters/barstaff get O tip from a voucher drink.
  10. 7 nights on Ovation followed by 10 nights on Quantum. 10 voucher cocktails per day for my wife and myself. 170 cocktails over 17 nights. Will we possibly consume 170 drinks. Based on the last 5 transatlantic cruises..... Absolutely. 3 or 4 for my wife and 6 or 7 for me per day... no problem. Cocktails glasses are 90% ice, only worthwhile drinks are Martinis, over the rocks or a nice double pour wine with dinner. .
  11. A 12 year old and a 19 year old sharing a undersized pull out sofa... Post some pics in in the Add Some Humor thread. happy cruising
  12. You make a reservation after you board, 99% chance Chops will not be reserved even though you picked a day and time. You can go to any Restaurant and make both your reservations. Yes you can make a double Chops visit. Be sure to try the Berkshire blackened pork belly appetizer at chops.
  13. 4 cruises on Oasis Class, always have a package, never had a problem getting the restaurants, times or days we wanted. We always eat late.. If you need 6:30 reservations and are not flexible then it might be worth it to pay extra.
  14. Covid is dead, Monkey pox can not generate any panic, so we now need a new worry.. This was many years ago ... but... Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Aboard Celebrity Cruise Ship https://www.smslegal.com › carbon-monoxide-poisonin... — Six people, maybe more, have been sickened by carbon monoxide aboard the cruise ship Celebrity Mercury docked in Baltimore McComas street ...
  15. Not true, room service runners are volunteers, they work extra to make extra tips.
  16. Sounds like you need MTD, it is somewhat set up for two tops which would be easy for one. MTD is also good if you like to eat quick. Far fewer two tops in traditional dining but a table for yourself should still be possible. Make your first stop after boarding a trip to the dining room to make sure you get what you want.
  17. You need to count for yourself, when bar tenders are busy many never ring up the sale. Last cruise on Navigator we had one day that showed 4 drinks and I am sure we had at least 10.
  18. They simply need to purchase a 3 night package, now or after boarding. Make a new reservation for 150 with the package, then at the same time switch over their existing reservation to the package and receive a full OBC refund for the two nights they have already paid for. We have found the specialty restaurant staff to be exceptionally accommodating to changes.
  19. We do it often. Our Anniversary falls in the middle of all westbound TA'S. We always book a 3 or five night package and book our Anniversary on a specific night and time and pay full price. As soon as we board we make all our package night reservations and swap out the full price night for a package night. It has never been a problem. Host just cancels the full price night and we receive a fully refundable OBC.
