  1. The prices are generally incredibly cheap compared to US prices -- but the selection is also limited.
  2. When you first board the ship, go to the dining room and talk to the dining room manager on site to repeat your request for early dining. Early dining is difficult to come by, but it's possible that you will be able to change to early dining once on board the ship.
  3. And even though they can't use the Neptune Lounge, you are more than welcome to bring food / snacks back to your suite to share with them. Or ask the Neptune suite concierge to deliver pre-dinner snacks or other meals. They are more than welcome to join you in your suite, of course, at any time and with any food.
  4. A couple of comments on today's daily: I spent the first 5 years of my life on Oahu -- my father was stationed at Hickam Air Force Base -- now Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The only hotel on Waikiki was the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and Haiwaii was not yet a state. So that kind of gives you a clue to my age :-). My best friend from high school, with whom I used to cruise (she unfortunately passed away in January of 2018) once took an upgrade form a Neptune Suite to the Pinnacle Suite for I think only $700 per person. I agree with @seagarsmoker that it was way too big for two people, but, for two unrelated people, having the half bath available was a bonus. The biggest problem was, as two unrelated people, the king size bed could not be split into two beds. But it was an experience I'll remember since, now that I sail as a single, I will never experience it again. And the hot tub on the balcony was nice ...
  5. I don't know whether to laugh or cry -- she was a beauty. You talked so lovingly of the Senior Cat that I was sure she was still in charge. My sympathies again. Now that you're an empty nester, you will have to find another.
  6. Oh, no. I'm so sad to hear this. How is the Senior Cat doing?
  7. I can't like your post, but I do feel your sadness. I've been there once or twice in the past and it never gets easier. But he's in a better place now 💔
