Hello, we have booked our first cruise on NCL Sun next year, we are experienced cruisers but I am a bit bewildered with the FAS Package. If anyone could assist, I would be very grateful. I did research the T&Cs but it has left me even more confused ? : Premium Drink Package - $15 threshold per drink, pay the difference any value over, do you pay 20% gratuity on the drinks within the offer and/or extra costs above $15 ? I also read that drinks on Hawaiian Cruises or drinks within Hawaiian waters may not be included ? Our Cruise is out of Honolulu around Hawaiian Islands then onto French Polynesian Islands. Speciality Restaurants - My understanding is that our length cruise/cabin grade allows two inclusive reservations each, can these be taken in either “Cover Charge” or “A La Carte” Restaurants ? and am I correct that in ALC Restaurants you can order any amount starters, deserts or sides with a single main ? No Pre Boarding Reservations for these FAC Perks, only if you add extra chargeable reservations ? Thankfully the Wi-Fi & Excursion Allowance within the FAC Package appear self explanatory. Hi everyone, we have just booked an amazing itinerary on The Sun for October 2024. I saw a fantastic deal, which included 5 nights Hotel in Honolulu, then cruising Hawaiian Islands with two overnights, four sea days, then French Polynesian Islands, 20 days in total. we reside in England and whilst we are experienced cruisers, we have never sailed with NCL, but the smaller intimate ship, and bucket list ports of call really appealed to us. Lots of research to do. We have been fortunate enough to have cruised to many beautiful locations, but first time to South Pacific, super excited.

We received an invitation to board and view the Apex this weekend at Dover UK, I note that she is currently on a cruise around Iceland, docking at Dover before finishing at Rotterdam in the Netherlands. We have previously sailed on the Edge, so will be really interested in the tour to see how it differs. Lunch in Luminae would have been nice 😊 but the MDR will still be very nice, smart casual, chinos and short sleeve collar shirt should be ok ?

The VC Dinner looks amazing, however although my partner would love the courses with seafood, I don’t eat any seafood, I wonder if advised in advance the chef could adapt the menu accordingly ?

We are sailing on both 6th & 10th cruises, are from the UK and have not received any Move Up invitations to date.

We are cruising in April, both had the Classic Package included in our Cruise Price, and I upgraded about a month previous, I assume that Celebrity can’t insist that both persons within the cabin have the same package retrospectively ?

You have to call…….crazy but no options on web site to upgrade

10% Discount if you quote your CC Number when you call, no provision to upgrade an existing package online, and operator was unable to offer any explanation why.

Managed to book the upgrade after calling Celebrity, answered within a few minutes and processed after a further 15 mins, operator could not offer explanation on why the web site does not allow upgrades. 10% Discount for Captains Club, and upgrade paid out of OBC, so now it’s sorted.

Why do Celebrity not give option on their Web Site Portal to upgrade from an existing Basic Drink Package to Premium for the duration of the voyage prior to sailing ? it would save time & effort for guests rather than clogging up the Celebrity Customer Service telephone lines ! also is there any financial benefit from this process rather than upgrading once aboard ? We are sailing same itinerary on the Silhouette in April, and agree the App isn’t updated with entertainment schedule until a few weeks prior to sailing

We have an upcoming cruise porting at Nassau for first time, and wish to make the most of our visit within a reasonable budget. I have read that the town is not that interesting to walk around, so was considering other options, we do like a nice beach/beach bar but not overcrowded, has anyone any recommendations, Celebrity do a excursion to Pearl Island including lunch which is currently discounted, anyone experienced this trip ?
