Currently vaping is only allowed on two ships (Eclipse and Equinox) as a 8 week test.. Not fleetwide. My post was nothing but a comment saying even if Celebrity goes forward fleetwide as a new policy allowing vaping in the casino, we'll continue to cruise with Celebrity. Read all of the threads concerning the test of vaping in the casino. All of them, commented on all of them. I have used and provide that Email address plus another. No lecture needed by you. Way ahead of ya.

We'll continue to cruise with Celebrity if they decide vaping is now allowed in the casino after there little useless experiment. We'll be highly disappointed and will annotate our disappointment on our PCS, for what that's worth. 🙄

Summit no to both questions. Eclipse has two hot tubs. No T-pool.

Agree. We've been on the Summit a few times pre revolution but twice post revolution.

HH is all day with the CBP. Any drinks over the allowed amount you'll pay the difference plus 20% gratuity. No need to order off the limited CC HH (5 to 7:PM) beverage menu as you have the CBP.

Does seem weird. But since we don't book suites, we have no complaints about the Summits revolution. We did think it was odd that Celebrity didn't give the Rendezvous Lounge a facelift.

There's a lot of other little reasons why we avoid DCL. 😁

All non smokers and non vapors should boycott the casinos. Maybe that will hurt the bottom dollar more the not allowing smoking and vaping in the casinos. OK, back to reality. 🙃

The Summit was revolutionized and the Eclipse hasn't been.

It's not the vapors or smokers fault if they are doing their thing in the authorized smoking areas. That's all on Celebrity and I'm against the ridiculous test and hope it fails. IMO, the vapors are going to turn the casino into a vaping lounge whether the casino is open or not to gambling just like the smokers have turned the casino into a smoking lounge on RC and Princess.

Speaking only for myself(and wife) no. What you or others do is all on them/you as we don't concern ourselves with others decisions. We will voice our concerns, complaints. whines, rants thru Emails and PCSs but Celebrity still offers us a good product at a reasonably price. We cruised with Celebrity when they allowed allowed inside smoking. We aren't willing to walk away. Just like we still cruise with RC and Princess that still allows smoking in their casinos. We may not agree with it but there are other things in our lives we don't agree with, but will continue to make the best of what we like and adjust accordingly. We've got two future Celebrity cruises, one future Princess cruise and will be booking a future RC cruise in October while on the Eclipse.

I do too. I will make my (our) voice(s) heard. It's not enough to make us stop cruising with Celebrity but it's enough for us to voice our disappointment with Celebrity's hair brain decision and we will annotate it on our PCSs and follow-up post cruise Emails. Well worth my time and effort. I use to say, RC and Princess needs to follow Celebrity's lead by not allowing smoking and vaping anywhere inside their ships and balconies. I guess I'll have to keep my big mouth shut, at least for now!

But will it be removed? My Magic 8 Ball says, ask again later.

The no smoking policy anywhere inside the ship was still in effect on our March 2023 Apex cruise. I believe this ridiculous policy change is as recent as late June. The new CEO of Celebrity. Laura Hodges Bethge. Change of command was in May from Lisa.

Agree and will always book only SV or DPV on the E class ships. I like having those options. If IVs were the only option we would move on to other ships.

Agree. We just may see smoking allowed back in the casino in the near future. Or a smoking section in the casino like on RC ships. Like the stench doesn't drift all over the casino and out of the casino in nearby venues. We aren't gamblers so the casino isn't a draw (pun not intended) for us but just hate to see Celebrity now allowing vaping. Whether it has a order or not.
