Possibly the new CEO will do away with the Retreat Lounge and return it back to Michael's Club when it was a cigar smoking lounge. 🙃

I will be Emailing Celebrity (executiveoffice@celebrity.com) post cruise and in my PCS if vaping is allowed in the casino on our October Eclipse cruise voicing my dissatisfaction with that decision. What's next. On the balconies and in the staterooms!

Just found the thread. That's new. That sucks! Hopefully it's not fleetwide.

Imagine that. Celebrity doesn't allow smoking or vaping anywhere inside their ships. Only outside in designated smoking areas.

CELEBRITY REFLECTION PHOTO DISASTER RANT
davekathy replied to crewsgirl's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The photographers are employees of the contractor Celebrity hires. As are the onboard shop, casino, art and spa workers. I believe shore excursion employees are also contractors -
Before 11 July you get the current rate.

I remember when the Edge was being first introduced and on every Celebrity cruise we took there was always something about it on the stateroom TV. We said no way not for us. Then we took a cruise on the Apex based on the itinerary this past March. Needless to say we were wrong. Got the Edge booked for a future cruise.
-
IMO, better than the IV. DPV are smaller and enclosed but very doable. We've got another DPV booked on the Edge after experiencing a DPV on the Apex. Similar to the standard balconies on RCs Voyager class ships. AKA, tuna fish can balconies. 😁

You're welcome. I have had good luck with those that respond from Celebrity using that Email. I've received phone calls from that office and follow up Emails concerning my questions/concerns. -
Yes. They are called Deluxe Porthole Verandas.

You need to send your complaint (rant) to the following Email address concerning the so called armature photographers and what you experienced. The photos are from the contractor (the photo studio staff are not Celebrity employees) not Celebrity. executiveoffice@celebrity.com -

Now that you mention it, I have too for shore excursions. I stand corrected.

Celebrity Eclipse Mexican Riviera from "Los Angeles". WHERE?
davekathy replied to PaperSniper4's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We're flying into Long Beach. Booked our air yesterday, Staying at the Homewood Suites in Long Beach. Hotel shuttle pick up at the air port. We'll take a taxi over to the San Pedro cruise port. -
Purchases using OBC can only be used onboard the ship.
-
OBC can be used for all onboard purchases. The purchases will be automatically removed from your OBC. If you have nonrefundable and refundable OBC nonrefundable OBC account will be used first and then refundable OBC.
-
I saw the option, I elected not to take it.
-
My search showed both options. I kept the booking the same as when I first booked in in March. AI, DPV and declined the insurance.
-
Website is working great for me. Just save over $400.00 on our previously booked September 2024 Edge cruise and received an additional $200.00 OBC. Wait time was ~60 minutes but well worth it.

Looking forward to having lobster on our October Eclipse cruise.

Tough crowd. 🙃

If I wanted to visit Coco Cay, I'd cruise Royal.

We aren't private island fans or beach goers. But will adjust accordingly. Sometimes we don't like a ports of call either on all our intinaries. We'll try and pick Celebrity intinaries like we do our RC and Princess intinaries. Ones without a PI stop but if we can't avoid a PI stop then we'll just get off the ship, wonder around, grab a drink and a snack, chill out for awhile and back to the ship when our fun meter is pegged. That's our plan for our March Princess cruise when we stop at Princess Cays.
