While in Fort Lauderdale for
Agree. While in Fort Lauderdale (17 March) we did a pre-cruise hotel stay like always for our 18 March Apex cruise. The hotel we were staying at didn't do a HH. So I bought six tequila mini bottles at a nearby liquor store. We drank three and packed the rest in our checked luggage. DUH! Anyway when we received our luggage on the ship I noticed the zip tie was missing I used to secure our luggage. When I opened my suitcase there was a yellow ship inspection slip in the suitcase. Inspectors name and in comments, "clear". Crazy thing is the three tequila mini bottles were still there. Probably my boxers were in question. 😁 We brought the tequila home.
Should post before your 8 April cruise. You can always call CC to verify before your cruise. 1-800-560-0654. Any gratuities for CC HH drinks are at your discretion. Nothing to sign as you are not charged gratuities for CC HH drinks. .
Not sure why you added my screen name to @jelayne post. Not my words. First quote in your post.
I would have gone down to GS the next day and requested the two confiscated bottles of wine be returned IAW Celebrity's published policy. 🍷
Your cruise deposit would be $100.00 per person. You also would be getting all booking perks RC is offering at that time for that specific cruise and any OBC for booking onboard. Including any CAS perks/benefits. Like balcony discount.
Yea, land v cruise ships (Celebrity and RC). At least on the M&S class ships the change rooms have a small dry sauna for those that like them. RC's change rooms are set up the same way Celebrity's are. I'm glad the spa/fitness centers have the change rooms as I use it for our second bathroom for showering in the morning and late afternoon. I only use our stateroom shower in the evening before going to bed.
I've seen and used shaving cream and disposable razors on the Equinox but I'd bet that little touch has been eliminated. Never seen hair spray, deodorant, or mouthwash in any fleetwide spa change room.
On the Apex there are towel knobs (hooks) by the three showers and above the bench by the two sinks. There was lotion, shower caps (which made me laugh) and Q-tips between the two sinks.
And there are less congested areas on deck 14 with lots of loungers. Just depends if you want to be where the action is (deck 12 and 14) or away from the action. I'm not in favor of Celebrity's decision to make the Retreat deck what it is, but it is what it is. I spent one sea day afternoon on the Retreat deck (not in a suite) on the Summit. Underutilized and very windy. Just like it was before Celebrity made it the Retreat deck.
Not true and not true no matter how many and your age. The deck above the pool deck (14) is a better place to catch the rays than the pool deck. Open to all and lots of loungers.
