We are due to board Envision on Friday and are now changed to the View. Are they transferring in Passai?

They announced that we were cleared and able to self disembark at 7:15. The earliest time available for people needing luggage assist was 8:15-8:30, but there were a lot of bags at baggage claim when we walked by at 7:45. It also took me an hour to get through security and passport control this afternoon. This is a busy weekend being the end of Eid and Kings Day/May Day holidays.

My mom was able to self disembark in Amsterdam from the Rotterdam this morning at 7:30. We had arranged for a staxi at 7:45. She arrived at the Schipol airport at 8:15 and was through security and passport control by 9:30. My flight is at 16:15, but they aren’t allowing anyone to checkin until 3 hours before the flight.

I was already planning to take a cab later in the day, but had arranged the transfer for my mother since her flight is a lot earlier than mine. She wasn’t super confident going to the airport alone. I have scheduled a taxi for her on staxi.nl. It is a bit frustrating they allowed her to book it online, but then canceled onboard. There’s no reason they can’t have an 8:00 shuttle bus.

We are on the Rotterdam disembarking in Amsterdam tomorrow. Our prepaid ship transfer was canceled onboard because the flight is before 1:00. They told us to take a cab.

Skagway News posted about it today on their Facebook page. Encore had to use tenders from another ship to return their passengers from another pier. No injuries were reported.

We will be on the Majestic NB on Aug 13th. No changes showing up yet, but sounds like it’s time to plan for Sitka. What are the times they are showing for your Sitka stop?

I would choose the sunny side on a lower mid ship area. We’ve been in 30-40’ seas on the Queen Mary, which was a little uncomfortable on the higher decks. It was very windy and cold at times.

At that age I wouldn’t bother sterilizing sippy cups, just bring dishwashing soap. If you’re set on sterilizing then check mothercare and boots for the cold water sterilizing tablets, they are easy to transport. Bring small boxes of UHT milk to keep in your cabin. Load up on familiar snacks. Bring inflatable tub or hold your kid and shower. Be flexible, but try to stick to your routines. I think you’re looking at this through the lens of an infant, but it will all be easier as your baby gets bigger.
