  1. I am researching an Aussie adventure and am drawn to an Oceana Cruise sailing out of Perth to Sydney for Jan 2025 ~ The sailing is almost sold out but the following 2 sailings have plenty of availability? Is there any explanation for why this would be? Anyone know of any large group sailings? Is this an itinerary that is commonly booked quickly? Thank You, Patty
  2. Wish you the best but when you hit a snafu remember you were warned. The reps in call centers are not on ships as the Original Poster and many others are/were. Banking on what the Celebrity Reps say is the "catastrophe" waiting to happen.
  3. This is because you need to have Any Time Dining designated not early or late. Then you'll be able to reserve your dining times for each night.
  4. Thanks! I did book, looks like a great way to secure our spot! By chance did they offer/substitute any champagne other than a rose blend? Hoping they have other options, if not I suppose vodka will do ๐Ÿ˜ Patty
  5. Looks great! Do you feel any breeze or get any sun? I've been debating booking one for a sea day in February onboard Beyond. TIA, Patty
  6. I have this booked! I knew to grab it quickly! Keep an eye out if it's something you want to do, many times they'll add another tour or people cancel. Patty
  7. It was bouncing/wonky today while I was booking some excursions/dining. Patty
  8. Not positive but I believe it is Coral Beach Club
  9. Based on your post Millie has Skagway and ISP To me they are very different but both great!
  10. The Millie! Better port hours and has Skagway. I am boarding on the 14th and this is my 3rd time sailing this itinerary/ship. It's a great option. Hubbard is massive. Patty
  11. Wait... Gotta get my head around this one... ๐Ÿคฏ You're asking on a public forum for people to tell you what will happen if you steal? Seriously? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ
  12. Yes it is and for 2 sailings. Feb & Aug
  13. I have reservations made for my upcoming sailings, done in the cruise planner. Booked with open dining and then reserved my preferred time and dining room. Just as a heads up to let others know that reservations are still available. Patty
  14. One easy way is to look on the cruise lines excursion list for each port to see what grabs you. You can make a list with port vs tours/activities you'd like. Not saying you have to book through them, sometimes I do and sometimes not but you'll get a direction for each port stop and can research/plan from there. Patty
  15. IMO Princess north or southbound one-way sailing will give you the biggest bang for you buck. Princess and Cel are very similar as a far as atmosphere and ship vibe. When planning for Alaska I aways pick the best itinerary for what I want to see/do. Ex. Bear Tours have prime viewing seasons/locations. I know it's hard to wrap your head around it all but to be honest, once you lock down your sailing it will all come together. As a side note~ You will never get it all in one sailing so try to pick a few of your must haves and begin there. Happy to help if you have any other questions, Patty
  16. For me I'd go with a Glacier Bay sailing but never NCL. We all have our priorities and for me the ship experience is just as important as the itinerary. Personal Choice. Ketchikan is a great port for Bear Tours & Misty Fjord, both amazing and to me pretty special! So this clearly shows what one loves, another doesn't. I've been to Alaskan many times and am returning July 2023 because I just can't get enough. Every trip has been completely different, for me thats what makes Alaska magical! Enjoy what ever you choose. Patty
  17. I am answering pickle11...didn't interject anything but it does seem you have a problem with being wrong! You clearly state something doesn't exist that in fact does. Not gonna argue any further. The tour is in fact offered with X and RCCL and it is a small boat to Hubbard not Tracy Arm.

  21. Latebuyer said RCCL and Hubbard Glacier. I don't think there is any confusion, I just did a google search and it was offered on Radiance in 2018
  22. I am booked for the tour, July 15th @ 2pm on Cel Millennium Copied... Overview Your journey into wild Alaska begins the moment you board the tour vessel. Relax in the warm, comfortable cabin, surrounded by large windows, as an onboard naturalist provides compelling narration about the wildlife, geography and glaciers of the area. The waters and wilderness of this region are home to an abundance of wildlife and feature breathtaking scenery. The maneuverable, shallow-draft tour vessel provides a chance for up-close encounters and best photo opportunities of the area's animal species, in addition to exploration of the shoreline and islands. Throughout your tour, enjoy the dramatic vistas of rocky coastlines shaped by the mighty Pacific Ocean, and endless expanses of rainforest and snow-capped mountains. As you approach Hubbard Glacier, the experience captain will weave your tour vessel through a maze of icebergs, some multiple stories tall, making for amazing photos. The Hubbard Glacier is often very active, and dramatic displays of calving - one of Mother Nature's most impressive shows - can occur at any time. All in all, this tour makes for an unforgettable experience, and quite possibly, the wildlife encounter of a lifetime. Highlights Marvel at jaw-dropping panoramas of temperate rainforest, snowcapped mountains, abundant icebergs and dramatic coastline. The maneuverability and draft of this Alaskan-built vessel allows for exploration of areas not accessible by larger ships, including close-ups of icebergs and shallow coastlines. An onboard naturalist will talk about the local wildlife and geographic features of the area, complementing the visual experience of the tour. Enjoy the detours and stops along the way to take amazing photographs and soak in scenery impossible to view from a cruise ship. Important details and advisements Complimentary beverages included onboard the tour vessel: hot chocolate, coffee, tea, and water. Guests with limited mobility and wheelchair-dependent guests should not select this tour, as they must navigate a number of stairs, moving platforms and a narrow door threshold with little to no assistance. This tour operates in all weather conditions. Additional beverages are available for purchase. Wildlife sightings are frequent, but not guaranteed. Tours, tour dates, and times are subject to change and availability. Please be advised that this tour is likely to sell out. We recommend you book early so you donโ€™t miss out. Guests must be of legal age to drink alcohol. Alcohol may be available, please drink responsibly. Departs at Day 2 2:00 pm Duration 2hr 30 min Activity Level Mild Full participation may require leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces... Read more This is in my cruise planner.
  23. No it is off the ship while going into the bay of Hubbard Glacier. Nothing to do with Tracy Arm, I've sailed in that fjord too.
  24. Well...maybe you weren't able or aware but it has been offered. Search here on CC for reviews, run by Allen Marine (not positive) through the cruise line. It has to be coordinated. I have also sailed multiple times in Alaska and have seen this multiple times.
