  1. We have a B2B cruise booked on Sky Princess in March. I was wondering if Princess offer any shore trips for passengers remaining on board for the second cruise. I am aware that they do have post cruise excursions that end at the airport but was wondering if there were any that brought you back to the ship? Many thanks in advance.
  2. I believe that part of Cielo is used for Club Class dining. This may be why it cannot be booked,
  3. It varies according to location and itinerary. North America is usually 7:30 and 9:30. In Europe this year it was 8:15 and 10:15. It may have something to do with when the MDRs open.
  4. The early booking is open for Elite passengers. If you are Elite you should have received the email from Princess a few days ago.
  5. The next generation medallions should include a small basic digital watch telling time only.
  6. For clarification Chicken tikka Masala is the most common Indian meal in the U.K. It is Indian cuisine but was created in the U.K. Marsala is a wine from Italy often used in cooking.
  7. Bear in mind that Dolphin deck has recently been used as an isolation deck for covid patients.
  8. Look at the Patter daily as the buffet has different themed meals every night. Italian is very good!
  9. If you like sushi the Ocean Terrace Sushi bar is great and is usually very quiet. It is an Al a carte menu which we paid about $30 for a meal for two.
  10. Unfortunately it is not up to Princess it’s up to the Greek government. I cannot believe that this update is correct. All the Canada sailings have been removed from the list. One of the reasons for the enhanced guidelines was Canada’s insistence in pre arrival testing. I have not heard that Canada has changed its position. Watch this space!
  11. Almost all have been eliminated. Is this correct though? I thought one of the reasons for the enhanced guidelines was Canada’s insistence on pre- entry testing. Unless Canada has changed its position? All Canada voyages a have been removed from the enhanced guidelines.
  12. What a Lovely review. I am glad you enjoyed your time in our beautiful country. With regard to your delay getting into Belfast, this is a common event. We were delayed until 5 in the evening having expected to dock at 7am. The problem is a combination of winds and tides. The crew can deal with the tides but if the winds are blowing in the wrong direction it makes docking very difficult.
  13. On the Sky in April it was $100 or $115 with wine. Definitely worth it - great food and service!
  14. And what would happen to the GTYs if I chose to book all 25 cabins for my extended family and friends?
  15. If you chose select you own cabin you see how ma y non guarantee cabins are available. There were plenty in all classes except suites.
  16. I believe there is an element of capacity control. Our cruise on Sky has been listed as currently unavailable for the last month. ( as have other Sky voyages). Immediately prior to the cruise becoming unavailable there was plenty of rooms available. Princess has taken a lot of stick lately due to poor service standards resulting from lack of staff. I believe They are now limiting capacity to proportion to staff available.
  17. We are on Sky in October and it has been unavailable for the last three weeks or so. I have spoken to my PCS at Princess and she said all is well. In fact we got a change of itinerary on Friday. I suspect that staffing problems are dictating availability. That is to say they are trying to maintain passenger crew ratios.
  18. As someone mentioned the concierge lounge is an oasis of quiet. They have food out all day -nuts, small sandwich rolls, salads and mini desserts. We go there for lunch most days. At happy hour (5-7) they open up into the chapel for more room.
  19. She also appears an assistant on Deal or No Deal. She is actually part of the production show team. We met the girl playing her on a shore trip and she too hated the character.
  20. My apologies! It does seem nonsensical that for a few weeks there will be no proctored testing then after the 6th it is back to proctored testing for transocean voyages.
  21. https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/uk-southampton-cruises/
  22. They still refer to cruises under 16 days. If you click to tab “important Cruise Details” you will find more information
  23. Because Princess offers TransPacific cruises as well as Transatlantic. I though the protocol on Trans Ocean cruises was quite clear - you need a proctored covid test regardless of sail date.
